Some of you might be in that sensitivity class with Aikman because Jerry is actually giving Dak a huge endorsement in saying he doesnt get rattled by talk. Aikman needs to stay in his lane and hold hands with Buck on sundays. See nothing wrong with what Jerry said. If Dak lets that get to him then maybe he shouldnt be the QB. What Jerry said is no different then what Parcells said when Romo first took over for Bledsoe. He said Romo wasnt ready but it had to be done.

As time has gone by, I am starting to understand Jerry better than most apparently ..

What he is trying to say is, "Maybe in that situation it would have bothered Aikman when he was that age, but it does not bother Dak."

He is not trying to insult Aikman by that, but rather he's trying to compliment Dak by saying, "It won't bother him."

Of course, the words he is using are more broad and less detailed which leaves it open to misinterpretation.

That said, the popcorn's popping as I am sure this thread will be quite entertaining before it's over :)
I much prefer @superonyx interpretation of Jerry calling him a big nancy:laugh:

Troy was amazing. But Jerry is not BSing here. Troy WAS extremely sensitive about stuff like this. He almost asked to be traded early in his career when he felt threatened. Just watch the Aikman special on the NFL network.

It's nice of him to worry about Dak's feelings, but my guess is that Dak does have thicker skin than Troy realizes.

But it would nice if jerry would just keep his trap shut to begin with.

Is this the start of "Accident waiting to happen" that SAS keeps talking about?

This isn't even close to as bad as Jerry's comments on Weedons deep ball last year. People are losing their mind over one loss. If they drop another one this board will be in full meltdown mode.

True, but they aren't 12 year old kids on the play ground.

Just cause some one criticizes you, doesn't mean you have to automatically fire back at them.
Maybe, but at least he turned it into an endorsement of Prescott.

Just watch this. Troy was taking shots at Jerry during this reunion.

Thanks for sharing this, but I didn't really see any 'shots'?

You know what I did see? Maturity, wisdom, and life lessons learned all around. Several of the people on that set realize the past mistakes they had made. And can't help but to wonder 'what might have been'?

Don't read too much into it. Aikman and jerry are cool. Jerry loves Troy. Still does. Yes there were issues while Troy was playing but they've put all that past them. Jerry still thinks very fondly of Troy. Got him his first three Lombardi trophys. Troy goes over for dinner when he's in town. This isn't a big issue
Don't they own a bunch of Dunkin Donuts together?

Jones probably miffed that Aikman called out his incompetence on the Football Life show.
