It might not be up to Jerry...Bill may just feel he does not have the energy to do it again.

Good I hope Parcells is out of energy tonight.

He's worthless anyways.

I really want Zimmer gone and have for years, but Parcells could have got rid of him a long time ago

further, how do we know it isnt Parcells really running the D anyway? maybe Zimmer is just a puppet for BP

David

zimmer=no jamming the receivers
parcells=believes jamming receivers is more important than blitzing

pretty clear who is calling the plays buddy

Jerry isn't going to fire Parcells.

He has too much respect for him. It's NOT going to happen.

He might convince him to quit.

But I don't even think he'd do that.

Unless Parcells walks away, get ready of another season of Coach Flintsone.

34-32, no playoff wins. Four years.

Ouch.

And a December collapse!

pretty sure Parcells has been on record saying he prefers zone coverages to straight man to man

it wasnt the horrible sieve we've seen for weeks, but it wasnt that good either

that rush 3 guys garbage and drop Ware into coverage play after play is just pure stupidity

and allowing a guy to run 20+ yds from the 1yd line when everyone knows they are gonna run isnt exactly great D either

I think he has a different level of respect for Parcells because he has worked so closely with him.

He had no relationship with Landry.

And was a new owner, young gun at the time.

I simply cannot see a press conference where Jerry announces that he's fired Bill.

nope
he is on record as saying he prefers jamming receivers to blitzing.
thats a fact.
He has said there are situations that are suited to man and some suited for zone. Said there is a trade off, but he has never said he prefered one or the other.

Unfortunately I think you're right.

Jerry would take too much crap for it.

Damn...This is one time that I wish Jerry would say...There are 500 coaches that could get beat by Seattle.

That will NEVER happen. BP would just walk away.

Sadly enough, I think Parcells and T.O. are back next year.

Jerry doesn't want to be the guy that fired Landry (even though it was HR), chased Jimmy Johnson off and fired Bill Parcells.

He's a business man. It would benefit him more to put some one better in the HC position if he thought he could. I think Jones finlay understands that the NFL takes time and consistency, but that's just me.

Who is Jerry Jones? We all know the master mind behind the Cowboys winning championships, Mr. Jimmy Johnson, now I'll give Jones credit for being smart enough to lure him away from the U but come on' what has he done since Jimmy left and don't mention that 95' Superbowl because my mother could have coached that team with all the talent it had left from Jimmy's days...
