As a GM he has not done as bad as people want to proclaim. Just take a look at all the studs he has filled this team with thru the draft, free agency, and the phenomenal free agent pick ups out of college.

We do not and have not had a good coach since Parcell's. The biggest flaw Jerry has done was bring in T.O against Bill's will. Do not forget that 2007, 13-3 team was Bill's team and he had guaranteed JJ a superbowl within 5years and the that 07' team was year three, I believe. I don't remember Jerry ever costing us a game because of playcalling, fumble, or interception. People, and I used to be one, hold Romo very sacred and never throw some of the blame on him even though not all is his fault.

Jerry needs some slack here. Yea he has the stadium and care's about selling it out everyweek... I'm pretty positive that mortgage is not cheap and if any of us were in his shoes we would do the same damn thing. It just erks the hell out of me when people automatically assume if Jerry is gone the superbowl comes. I call blasphemy! He has put nothing but talent on this team and because they can't produce he gets all the blame. I'm not saying Jerry should go scotch free, but he shouldn't get all the blame as well. The media already disrespects the hell out of one of the BEST owners in sports history, please, lets not keep adding fuel to their fire.

He's the one constant over the last 16 years. He DESERVES most of the blame.

I like how you just completely threw out what he did prior to 96

Jimmy built those teams, you know that.

Point proven. When it's good its the coach... when it's bad is jerry's fault. Who brought Jimmy in?

Al Davis won a bunch of rings too as a GM. Did that mean he didn't suck for the last decade or so before he passed away?

No way in hell you can compare the players Al brought in compared to Jerry. Every year we are one of the favorites to go to the superbowl. When was the last time you heard the raiders are gonna win the superbowl? Don't worry, I'll wait!

Not saying Jerry has NEVER done the right thing. But his wrongs out weigh his rights by a few tons.

Most here won't agree with this statement, but I am in the minority. I completely agree with this.

I realize Jerry wants to win more than anyone else. I just think he is going about it the wrong way. He is an owner and lacks the skills of most real GM's who have been around football their entire lives. He is not an expert on how to build a football team, but he is an expert on how to make money.

It's pretty obvious that no other team in the NFL would hire Jerry as a GM.

I think all Jerry's advantages of being able to outspend every other team went away with the salary cap -- especially in recent years as the cap has evolved to force more parity on all NFL teams.

Jerry Jones is this generations version of George Steinbrenner, who finally had the sense to hire the right people and step aside and watch his Yankees win several Championships, and just sign the checks. That's what JJ should do, step aside and hire a Jimmy Johnson type man. Maybe a Bill Cowher. :banghead:

Add revenue sharing to that. It's all evened out now and Jerry is lost in the mix of mediocrity.

Beware, they are everywhere. Fans who vastly overrate the talent on this team each and every year. People really need to stop being brainwashed by Jerry and the media. Both have very good reasons to overvalue the talent on this team.

Jerry Jones doesnt know how to make football personnel decisions and it's time we went out and signed a real football man to run the show here and tell JJ hE isnt the only one that needs a Facelift in Little "D' The team also needs one!!:banghead:

A scapegoat? Do you even know the definition? It's his team, if Jerry does well and puts together a good team, it's good job Jerry; But when he builds teams like he's done from the Campo era on, it's obviously his fault because he's the only one in the decision making process!
