It appears he wants Zeke wearing defenses out with his physically, which suggests they don't worry that much about his yards.
Yeah. I am sure the fact he gave Zeke 90 million guaranteed and the biggest RB contract in the league has nothing to do with it.....Jerry wants Zeke to carry the load to avoid any type of QB controversy should Cooper lead Dallas to more wins while Dak is on the sideline. Should Cooper perform well then Jerry has egg on his face for the $160M investment in Dak.
Amazing that after a great team win Jerry comes in and says this.I don't really care what Jerry wants.
Zeke can get his 10ish carries and then spend the rest of the time blocking and sucking air on the sidelines.
Zeke is currently on pace for under 800 yards rushing....Yeah. I am sure the fact he gave Zeke 90 million guaranteed and the biggest RB contract in the league has nothing to do with it.....

It's just unreal how he continues to emasculate the head coach and doesn't at all care." Says he wants to make sure they give Zeke the load" .........,.direct order or coaches decides. This is what I mean coaches sometimes have no choice but to play with the hand dealt.
Not at all. Doesnt help that Dak got hurt though. I dont mind losing a bet like that though. It is what it is. Also. Its not over yet hahaZeke is currently on pace for under 800 yards rushing....
You still feeling confident in that bet? lol
You are trying to turn a Zeke thread into a Dak thread. Just stop.Zeke has an $11.86M dead cap hit after this season with a 2023 cap hit of $16.72M so Dallas saves about $5M by trading/releasing Zeke after this season or, if designated a post June 1st cap hit, Dallas saves almost $10M in 2023 and nearly $8M in 2024.
By way of comparison, Dak has $89M in dead cap money in 2023 and $39.9M in dead cap money in 2024 with a $49M cap hit in 2023 and a $52M cap hit in 2024......
....so which contract looks worse if the respective player doesn't perform?????

Jerry wants his money on the field. Hence his comments about ZEKE! Not Dak.
Could it be that Zeke's blocking might keep our qbs from getting killed. Come on now.Jerry wants Zeke to carry the load to avoid any type of QB controversy should Cooper lead Dallas to more wins while Dak is on the sideline. Should Cooper perform well then Jerry has egg on his face for the $160M investment in Dak.
