He won't be if he has to shoulder the load. He can't keep the QB upright and he got hurt last year despite playing a third as many snaps as Zeke. What part of this don't you understand? I like Pollard.. I also like Zeke.. I just happen to believe that without Zeke doing what he do a lot of what Pollard do is not possible. If you cannot threaten the defense up the middle they can overplay you to the outside .. if you can't threaten the outside they overplay you to the inside. NFL DCs spend 80 hours a week figuring out how to stop your offense. Having multiple ways to attack them is better for you. Pollard and Zeke complement one another perfectly. Pollard is the beneficiary of the pounding Zeke puts on the defense. If they swapped roles and ran Pollard into the teeth of the defense and brought Zeke in fresh it would go pretty much the same.. with one exception.. Pollard would be in traction by week 4.. and so would all our QBs. Okay maybe that's two exceptions.

Wearing the other team out by running the ball isn’t a thing. This is 2022, not 1995.

If anything, a no huddle hurry up offense will wear out the defense.
