"Dak has done nothing to change my mind about any promise for the future. I think I've said that we will go as far as Dak takes us in the playoffs. Remember that. We will go as far as Dak takes us. And that is how far we went."

Dunn dunn duuuuuunnnnn!
I wish. I was going to start a thread a few weeks ago about what Jerry meant when he said "there is accountability".

I thought - and now still think - Jerry meant for himself too...for not believing Dak could make that much progress in one season. For not giving him a true #1 RB. For basically...as I have said for so many years...not really believing in him....just going to church on Sundays. Standing pat in free agency. Well now he is going to go all-in on Dak.

Do I think Jerry had some deathbed conversion to believing in Dak? No...I just think it's the easiest route for an 81 year old man. The path of least resistance.

The Cowboys and Jerry Jones will be mentioned in the press with every high profile FA and any other team's big name players who could be traded. The media loves the hits from talking Cowboys. Jerry will keep the talk active as long as he possible can (even though it is actually baseless) because he loves the action and it feeds his ego sickness. So, this little chat is the beginning of all that this year. Very likely a little silly garble from Jer and nothing else.

Tool.

We needed to go all in last year.

I don't believe a single thing he says.

This "We will go as far as Dak takes us. And that is how far we went." (which is absolutely a shot across the bow) and the fact that he refused to commit to an extension gives me a glimmer of hope. Jerry has a poker face like a mirror, so if he was looking to lock him up to an extension, he would have been offering nothing but praise and telling us about the deal he was going to get done to keep him a Cowboy for life.

We’re back baby!

I Sincerely believe that Clarence is Dak's true father.................... :muttley:
Anything this man posts has a "Dak is Great" agenda and not for football reasons.
Clarence is confused and along with Jerry, I consider them dumb and dumber!

All in lol I will believe it when I see it and even if Jerry does that desperation move I still don't buy into this team until we win multiple playoff games. You can run your mouth all you want Jerry we are don't believing your lies.
