Jerry wont comment on Wade

I can stomach an all out nail bitter where Min wins with like 1 point, but this is just embarassing...Wade should lose his job over this loss period!!!

The 4th and 1 call early in the game should be enough to get Wade shipped out of Dallas.

So the bar has now been set to "doing better than expected". Thats what you are proud off??? This is loser talk, are we now the freaking Lions or something where as long as we do better than what the preseason mags predict us to do, its all good???
I think "doing better than expected" is the bar for not firing your head coach.

That doesn't mean it's the bar for where you're "happy" or "content." There's a big difference. There will be 31 teams that aren't happy with the results of their season. But that doesn't mean there will be 31 head coaching positions open.

wade is coming back and he deserves to. The whole staff does. We have a good thing going.

Well we know Grantham is gone. I still think Houck might retire. He was very close to retiring two years ago IIRC.

if we had this board in 91 do you think everyone would have wanted Jimmy, norv and wandstedt fired?

Cause if they had been how would history be different.

THis is just part of the progress, it stinks today but we have a great group of guys here who I think are going to get better.

We DID!!?? Wow, we have some REALLY low expectations all of a sudden.

A couple more years of this kind of "success", and I won't be renewing a few season ticket options, trust that.

rofl... our best season in 13 years and now you want to stop renewing tickets? good game.. seriously.

Jerry was right behind Opie and Gump at the end of the game, and he did NOT look happy.

Jerry looked hot on the sidelines.

He should direct his anger at his offensive line and draft some replacements.

I'd draft 3 offensive tackles.

I'd take 2 c/guards

RT and LG need to be changed for sure. The future LT needs to be found.

Adams' replacement needs to be found now.

I'd start Doug Free next year at RT.

Colombo got destroyed today.

Quit taking Felix Jones out of the game. They took him out when he was white hot on that one drive. The Vikings never had to stop him. Jason Garrett stopped him.

I think it's pretty obvious for a while it all comes down to Garrett. Jerry prefers to keep the staff as is, but if Garrett gets a HC offer elsewhere Jerry will give him the Cowboys job to keep him.

Who knows, maybe it is just Jerry getting "wiser" with age, or maybe this is the mellowing of an old man, but I have to say that there is one thing about "old" Jerry that I miss. "We will win, we must win, win is the name of the game." It was something close to this that he said when he took ownership of this football team. It was this that made him not hesitate a moment to fire one of the greatest football coaches in NFL history. It was this that allowed him to make some gutsy ownership moves in those early days and not look back.

I sure hope we don't settle for "we were better than most thought we would be."

Houck is the one guy I replace.

Nudge him into retirement and get an OL guy who can help evaluate draftees and develop guys.

Maybe it says Jones wasnt really expecting us to be a playoff winner this year. Not really sure.

Ultimately only one teams wins the trophy. Does the team that loses the super bowl need to fire their coach if they are blown out?

It just wasnt our day. I dont think anyone coached bad, nor do I think it was lack of effort. Our OL let us down, the kicker let us down and the secondary gave up a couple of plays they shouldnt have. Thats why we lost.

I dont think it is about the head coach we hire, it is the coordinators

I think Houck going may be a good thing,I don't think he has the energy to be a top tier line coach anymore.Just an opinion, but the hours that the coaches put in take there toll, especially on the older guys.

Like somebody is actually going to give Red a HC offer after that beat down.

If Wade is gone Garrett will be the HC.

I don't think that's the case at all. If anything has been questionable about this team this year, it hasn't been the defense or team motivation in general.

Garretts offense, however, has been quite a few times. I don't think the stink the O Line brought out today is his fault, but when this team has lost, it was usually because the offense was inept. I'm sure Jones has noticed Garretts flaws by now.

And then depression set in.

I never said I'd be happy with it or want it but he's Jerry's boy and I'd be shocked if he's not the next HC.

I haven't been on Wade's bandwagon ever, so if he goes I won't be bothered by it. I think the team is rolling in the right direction, but I can't say it's because of Wade's coaching. It's more a product of Austin stepping up as a legitimate deep threat and clutch receiver and the defense, OK I"ll give that to Wade, stepping it up and though he didn't play well today, Romo's growth.
