Wade couldn't carry Jimmy or Carpetbaggers jocks as a coach.

But he did get us to The Elite Eight.

No way would Jerry have the balls to pay Garrett more than Jimmy Johnson or Bill Parcels if they were the coach of the Cowboys. That is why I have to say Jerry has little to know respect for Wade. This has already created a circus at Valley Ranch. If the season starts off slow next year it will be a media frenzy on Wade not having the players respect. It takes us back to the Barry Switzer days.

Although, I believe Jerry was trying to do the right thing. He has setup a situation of failure.

AGREED!!

Exactly. The writing was on the wall when JG was hired before Wade.Wade must understand that having JG stay only helps his chances of ridding the giant ape on his back and winning at least a playoff game if not the SB.Wade isn't suffering any financial hardship.Any mature, reasonable person would realize that this is all good.Screw the "journalists".

what you leaving out is the players in the lockerroom, how can they take wade seriously..this is a bad way to do business!!!

Jerry's got the OC he wants. Wade has the OC he needs, problem?

I dont see any problems at all.

After that one-and-done choke job, Wade is not going to be saying jack. He just better be glad Jerry didnt fire his butt in the tunnel after the game.:D

Geez, talk about a no win situation....if Jerry lets Redball leave we criticize him for allowing this to happen, if he pays him he is a buffoon for disrespecting Wade. Ridiculous, you can't satisfy everyone, so Jerry did what he felt he had to do; that, you have to give him credit for.

I finally listened to the podcast of the Jerry show today, and he said no one was hoping and rooting for Jerry to keep Garrett more than Wade.

Really this place is a tough crowd. Remember no one here thought we would do this well until next year anyway. I for one am happy with the way things are shaping up, but would have liked to make it to the SB just like everyone else.

The more I think about it, we were actually pretty lucky to beat the Giants twice this year.

Seriously-what if Coughlin continued to throw at Reeves the entire game, b/c he was matched up with Plax, who was tearing us up early? What if Toomer had gotten both of his feet in bounds in the endzone? The score would have been 13-3 early, and it could have gotten ugly. What if the Giants hadn't bobbled that extra pt attempt early, which somewhat changed the personality of the scoreboard late in the game(when they had to go for 2, instead of 1 late in the game)? What if the Giants didn't commit a stupid holding call on Bradshaw's long KR return? What if Chris Snee didn't grab Roy's jersey on the game tying TD, when the RB clearly had the open lane anyways? What if Kevin Dockery was a millesecond SOONER on a Romo pass that was completed to Fasano? It would have been a pick 6.

Pt being that if the Gints had converted at least 2 of these plays, we would have been playing in the WC game in South FL *without* TO against the best Cover 2 D.

Am I still dissapointed over the loss? Yeah-but at the same time, the Giants were a very tough opponent to begin with anyways.
