I like the thinking. Agreed that Moore isnt bad, but the combo of him and Dak isn't getting us where we need to go.

A fresh system, and perhaps a coach with more experience leading people, could help Dak. And maybe in more ways than just scoring points. Consistency, decision making, attitude--maybe a new coach could improve on those things too. It could always get worse, but we're not winning anything with our current coach anyways.

Couldn't be more wrong. Dak is the problem. Always has been...

I don't care what it costs to move on....rip the band-aid.

Prescott for Zach Wilson....straight up.

Hell...I'd even settle for cutting #4...and rolling with Wentz or Rush.

How many more times do we need to see #4 fail?

The guy has a laundry list of defects...

It's time to move on...

Tired of all the excuses...when you can go back and pin point where all the blame should be....it's time for accountability.

No ands...ifs...or buts....it's all on #4...and his turnovers.
Yes.

An OC will make no difference
Dak and MM are buddies because they’re both mediocre and just happy to be here and be paid. Just like Romo and Garrett
If Dak can’t be fired, Mccarthy has to go and get a hard *** in here (like Payton) who will hold Dak accountable
Dak needs a real HC not a buddy

Regardless of what you think of Dak, he's not going anywhere. He's here for a few more years. You can dabble in fixing the talent around him but IMO, that just won't be enough. The only other option to try to squeeze more out of him is give him a fresh voice, a new offensive system. He and Moore have stagnated, specifically when it comes to situations like last night.

Before the Moore fans get all goosy and poop all over this thread, I am not saying Moore sucks. But the reality is the OC is a lot easier to replace than a QB with massive cap hits. Jerry likes to wax on about how he has had to make a lot of tough decisions his entire career in business and in most cases, they have panned out for him.

Here's another opportunity. If you really want to try to get more out of Dak, I think the easiest way is get another OC in his ear, another system that can scheme guys open, etc. Make it easier for Dak. I tend to think Moore and company expect Dak to turn whatever they are spinning into pure gold. It might be time to try someone who can turn what Dak is spinning into gold.

I would trade Moore if I could. That offense is outdated. Has little imagination or creativity. Time for a new OC. Otherwise we will waste the next 2 years waiting for Dak's contract to finally allow us to move on from him.
Every offense looks outdated when your QB stinks the place up.

Did the offense seem outdated to you against the Bucs last week? How about all the other weeks that we have been among the highest scoring teams in the NFL.

Our problems on offense have nothing to do with imagination and creativity.
