Great def coordinator, the best IMO which is why he would never come here. Why?

1. Zero chance to win a ring
2. Not gonna answer to a micromanager, football idiot like Jerry

Flores is a DC who's never succeeded as a HC. The reason was on full display Thursday night. Tampa was on the goal line , 4th down, and a FG makes it 3 score game with 5 minutes to play. He goes for it and fails. Dallas promptly drives the field and scores a TD making it a one score game. Tampa got lucky their coach didn't cost them a W.

Brian Flores is the BEST DC in football.

Minnesota’s defense is dominant. They often have 7-9 guys at the LOS. You never know how many guys he is bring, or dropping back, until the ball is snapped or a second AFTER the ball is snapped. The offense knows he is sending blitzes, but they don’t know where they are coming from.

He consistently puts his players in positions to make it EASIER for them to make plays!

He speeds up the QB’s internal clock. This is huge. When a QB!s internal clock gets speeded up. They make mistakes or they throw the ball way before they really need too. He also knows how to use run blitz’s to stuff the run.

Last year we played Minnesota. Shottenheiner and Dak never had a chance. The kicked our butt with NO QB!

Jerry should have offered him the HCing job last year!

Jerry your to old to waste another year. Hire Brian Flores next year as our Head Coach. Don’t try to low ball him either.

He’s be good. Todd Bowles would be good as well if he gets fired.

Todd Bowles is Tampa’s HC, not Flores.

Flores has proven he is an excellent DC. Not only that he has a unique system that other teams very seldom play against. Look what happened last year. Minnesota kicked our offenses butt all over the field ALL game long. Shottenheimer had no answers and Dak was confused the whole game.

I would rather him just be our DC, but he wants a HC position. I would hire him in that roll if he would not settle for DC.

Rest of the league has spoken brian Flores didn't get a single head coaching offer last year and I don't know why I think we can talk about what he may or may not have done with the lawsuits and what not but really what has he done as a head coach You want him as a defensive coordinator he's not coming here for that That was made clear what I think he's hoping is He'll end up getting the job with the Vikings the head coaching job and he could stay there with his guys his roster his defense and not make a single change But tell me if the rest of the league is smarter than Jerry why is Brian Flores not got another job since Miami and why should Jerry do it if no one else is doing it?
He's gonna be another in a long line of defensive coordinators that were better defensive coordinators than they ever will be head coaches I'm not saying I wouldn't want him here but I'm saying I think you're being ridiculous acting like he's available and should be hired as a head coach when the rest of the league has spoken isn't that what he said about Brian Schottenheimer not getting any interviews nobody else was interested well I don't see Brian Flores having another head coaching job either where's all the offers this is like St George Pickens is one of the best receivers in the league because of what he did for one year and not a single offer game in the offseason not one trade offer the fan base can be delusional at times...

Very unlikely, but who thought he would hire Parcells? No one!

I think some owners will turn away from Flores due to his lawsuit.
Also, I think some will need to make sure he himself matured from his Fins campaign.
4 years he fired the OC, he was running out of Ex-pats guys he knew.
The last year in Miami he stopped talking to his coaches for the past few months.
Tua was ruined from injuries, but I don't think the head games Flores did was beneficial at all. Obviously here we would have Dak, a vet, but just have to wonder if Flores can read the room or he's an one trick coach.

Some guys are just better off being a coordinator. That was certainly the case with Wade.

I do like the idea of going with a defensive head coach, though, but I want one with skins on the wall. I'm still a big believer in hiring someone who has shown he knows how to get to a Super Bowl. Unlike some here, I didn't mind the McCarthy hire because he'd been to the big show before. I would have loved to have gotten Harbaugh because I think he understands what it takes to win.

My only concerns is I remember reading he was difficult to deal with as a HC, publicly threw his starting QB under the bus, more of a jerk than Belechick it sounds. If he can town that down just a little….i mean Jimmy was tough, but sounds like he wasn’t difficult to work with with the staff.
