The reason they lose is the Dallas Cowboys are not a football team anymore. That was left behind in the distant past.

The Dallas Cowboys are a brand. Nothing more. Have been for a long time now.

And at the end of the day, it's the brand that is most important.

Just listen to Jerry. "We're the Dallas Cowboys." So? What the bleep does that mean? You think people are going to tremble at that name?

You win because you are good and want it more. Not because you are "The Dallas Cowboys".

And as long as everybody treats these players like they are part of a "brand" nothing will change.

San Francisco finally got away from that and now they are SB contenders on occasion again.

The Dolphins are trying hard as well.

But not the Cowboys. We're still DEEP in it. And it shows when and if we get to the playoffs.

Because when I fell for this team, the culture was different, winning meant something. Now it's all about brands, tik toks and podcasts, I've been watching since before these players were born and I'll be watching YEARS after they leave this team. It means more to me than it does to them .
