I didn’t have a problem with that. He didn’t start doing that until it was apparent they were in trouble. The opportunity for him to create something offset the change of starting field position from the 25 to the 15.Speaking of Turpin….why the hell you keep bringing the ball out Moron?!?
no the head coach should haveJerry should have given them that message before the game.
My grandson is 8 months old. I am sure his kids will see Dallas in a Super Bowl some day.Going on 30 years of losing in the playoffs. Why now?
07 Divisional round was admittedly disappointing but we lost by 4 to the eventual Champs.Which is what is so maddening. It almost fell perfect for them and they still blew it.
It's the worst loss since at least the 2007 divisional round.
First problem, Jerry is addressing the team. These speeches are for coaches to make before the game. After the game the only thing Jerry should say is, "you can pick up you paychecks at the front desk today. For some of you it will be your last one from me."
Nah....at some point somebody sellin. It happens in every family. It's not even worth mentioning the Jones family. When Jerry dies, its Stephens show. When Stephen dies, its his kids show. When they die, it's their kids show. We know they're the issue but that's never going to change they will always be at the helm for as long as any of us are alive
Feel the same to me too. Agree with @Risen Star07 Divisional round was admittedly disappointing but we lost by 4 to the eventual Champs.
Yesterday we got boat raced by the last team in, who is going to lose by at least 2 scores next week at SF.
QFTFolks are tired of hearing about Bill Belichick, but, he is the only HC candidate that can tell Jerry: "If you are serious about getting back to winning championships, you have to be willing to do whatever it takes to do so. Jerry, are you willing to do so? Are you willing to cut off you and Stephen's availability to the media? Are you willing to say less and do more behind the scenes? Are you willing to let Will McClay, the scouts and me procure talent not just in the draft, but in free agency and the draft as well? Are you willing to trust in the HC to set the tone of the organization? Set the tone in the media and the locker room? Can the HC decide who he wants to be on his team from top to bottom of the roster? Will contracts dictate who the HC can bench or fine or release? Will you close the back channel and upfront channels of communication between star players and ownership/the EVP/the GM, which can undermine the HC's authority and voice in the locker room? Will you allow the HC to decide who is or isn't on his coaching staff? If not, you aren't willing to do whatever it takes to win a Super Bowl again then this job isn't for me."
This is what he needs to hear, but no current HC, but the Hoodie, has the cache to even voice these sentiments to a billionaire, HOF owner of a once proud, highest valued franchise in the world.
Losing is a disease, as contagious as syphilis...They all need a hypnotist
The Cowboys had open locker room and a team meeting today. Jourdan Lewis, KaVontae Turpin and T.J. Bass spoke with reporters.
Jerry Jones addressed the team.
His message, according to Lewis: “We got to win. This is the Dallas Cowboys, we had everything to win. We can’t let this feeling keep going on.”
Pretty much sums it up. The individual talent is there. I'd definitely say the players and coaches failed. So Jerry thinks he set the table and the players/coaches failed him.
