doesn't work, fans all know it doesn't work, the Nation knows, even Jerry Jones should know by now. Apparently there is absolutely nothing we can do about it short of not supporting his team.

After over 30 years of supporting the same NFL team trying not to let the Owner effect your commitment for half of that period, even though deep down you know something just isn't right.

"Jerrys' Way" has often been criticized, disregarded, magnified and at times even praised. One thing is certainly been proven over the last Fifteen years, "Jerrys' Way" has never worked.

That's just a statement of an observation, still realizing there isn't much of a choice, it's "Jerry's Way" or the Highway. Maybe there is something to see out there on the interstates afterall, besides road kill.

Felt this way since the split between him and Jimmy!

Yankees started winning again when Steinbrenner was suspended a season and we got a quality GM.

Cowboys needs a quality GM. :banghead:

Jerry is not why this team plays undisciplined football.

He's put together a roster with alot of really good players, at one time he made really poor coaching and personnel hires, thats no longer the case. He hired Parcells to coach the team and run the organization, then had a very valid reason for hiring Wade to replace Parcells.

You can keep looking for a single scapegoat, but there isnt one.

Well Cowboys can't win with a disciplinarian like Parcells or a wimp like Wade, so now what?

It's not officially a Cowboy season until Jerry takes some heat.

Everyone wants to praise the players when we are winning but when we are losing its all on the coaches and Jerry.

Great post. Everybody felt like BP was the savior. Well, not only did Jerry bring him in, but he tried hard to persuade BP to stay when he selfishly left a year after manipulating more money out of Jerry. BP abandoned the Cowboys, but since he was such a genius who changed the culture of the organization, then give Jerry credit for hiring him and trying to keep him.

I agree that Jerry has amassed a lot of talent on the current Cowboys. He has done what a good GM does as far as personnel. You can't be great in every area of the team and you can't sign every superstar either. The current players and staff should be performing much better than they are. Each player and coach needs to look at themselves and make the necessary changes. Jerry isn't jumping offsides and making stupid calls. At some point, you have hold people accountable for their own actions.

Since Jimmy left the "Football Culture" for the Cowboys has taken a nose dive over with Jerry at the helm.

LOL at defending Jerry with the Bill and Wade hirings. Jones drove Parcells outta here, the entire hiring was a window dressing move.

Poor Coaching and Personel hires continue to this day.

Do you have something to back this up?

We've known this for the last 14 years - but the cancer still exists. Until it's removed it'll likely be this way.

While I may not like everything Jerry does, he's way better than a lot of the owners out there. You never appreciate what you have because the other side of the hill always looks greener from a distance. There are a lot fans of NFL teams right now, even some with winning records, who would love to have Jerry as their owner. There are a lot of fans of other teams who know their team will not retain any home-grown star players because their owners are too cheap to pay them.

The only constant that has been here in Dallas for the last fifteen years is Jerry Jones, not the Coaches or Players they've all long since moved on or retired.

Maybe Detroit or Oakland or delusional fans like the delusional fans of our team who worship the ground he walks on even though he's been the biggest detriment over the last 15 years.

Jimmy leaves. (insert whatever story anyone wants here on how it really happened? Thats not important)

FACT: Jimmy leaves and we spot the 49ers 21pts in first 12 minutes of 1st qtr in NFC title game
OPINION: I dont believe that happens with Jimmy remaining as HC.

*****

FACT: Cowboys win SuperBowl XXX
OPINION: We got lucky

*****

FACT: We win SB with Jimmy's Team
OPINION: Because we win SBXXX this allows Jerry to think he can run the team and make football decisions and have it work his way.

*****

FACT: Jerry's way doesnt work.
OPINION: It will never work
