I like the numbers designated by position, especially since they loosened up the restrictions on WRs and allowed numbers 10-19 for them without having all the 80s taken. Seeing someone like Louis Nix wear #1 at Notre Dame was too weird. Imagine seeing Richie Incognito in #4. Gross.

Rico downgraded numbers. The rest of them have better numbers for their position. Although I’d like to see a CB go against the grain one day and wear a 40s jersey like Anthony Henry.
