What are you thoughts?

I can't stand it. Here are two opponents battling it out for 60 minutes and then exchange signed jerseys at the end of the game. Just doesn't look right in my opinion.

I can see congratulating each other and a quick exchange of words, but swapping jerseys is just too much.

Do the swap in the locker room but get that stuff off the field.

Football is more enjoyable when you know both opponents can't stand each other compared to when opponents are best friends.

It is just a sign of respect. Doesn’t mean they are best friends or even friends.

I don't like it, but this is a new era. The "old school" football I grew up with is long gone.

I like it, but then I am also a massive English football fan where this sort of stuff happens a lot. I think it's a sign of respect to each other. To me, just because players swap jerseys doesn't mean there's no anger to each other. I mean, I've seen Chelsea and Man U matches where they swap unis, and they're bigger rivals than we are with the Eagles.

A lot of these guys travel in similar circles. They're obviously professional athletes which puts them in a very elite fraternity. These guys train together, have met in various HS/Collegiate camps, all-star games, alumni of same or competing schools. And just have respect for each others game

Yeah. They should just Fed Ex their jersey’s to each other during the week. Makes it more tolerable for us fans. Don’t need to see that s___t on game day!

It use to bug me but now adays most of these kids/players know each other for a very long time from even back in High school from different camps or simply following each other on social media

Depending on the player, those go in glass in their man cave as soon as they can get the jersey to whomever framed it for them.

This isn't gladiator.

These are overpaid entertainers that are literally playing a game. Back in the day they mostly played for tradition/honor but that ship has long sailed.

It's hard to dislike an opponent that literally helped you make over six figures for 60 minutes work..... (not only that but it's so hard to make it as an NFL starter so there's at least some mutual respect)

Those official jerseys carry value over time. If an idiot player/ex player ever goes broke then he can pawn or auction it off like a loser would

I'm an old-school fan and I don't like the Jersey swap, I don't like the end zone celebrations, I don't like the fact that you can't hit anyone, I don't like players on Twitter and I don't like comedians on the pregame show. With all that said I still like the game of football

I can't stand it. I remember former Cowboy, Tashard Choice once asked for an opponents autograph after a game and I lost so much respect for him.

Those jerseys are being collected like we would collect baseball cards.
I'm sure every player has a whole wall of framed jerseys in their house.

That it's pathetic and a sure sign of how the NFL has been feminized.

Rivalries are dead because of this mentality. We care about them, the players don't.

You should want to break your opponent's hand not shake it. It's football. It used to be a man's game.
