Holley is part of the attention seeking cycle as he looks to stay employed in media.
BUT he is nowhere near the bad actors that openly make things up and play a character on tv/radio/pod for attention.

He is 100% correct in that eye in the sky film has no true correlation to seeing the game at field level and at game speed.

It is hilarious to see people point out a guy with 5 yards of space is "open" when an NFL DB is closing into that area.

The Dak thing isn't complicated AT ALL.
He's graded out by 1000 metrics and all of them detail an accurate, productive QB that takes care of the ball.
He is good but not elite and really doesn't need to be mentioned every few seconds and after every loss or win unless your brain is incapable of processing the actuality you are seeing.

Last week was extreme example of just how goofy some fans and talking fans can be when trying to blame any aspect of that loss on the QB.
That was a Pro Bowl level performance.

I follow all of Jesse's media, and interact with him on Twitter. He's not at all saying the mischaracterization of his words that you're saying here.

At no point does he mention Dak. He's talking about fan boys who pay for All-22 access and have no clue what they are watching.

Nice try, Batman.
What’s the difference in the “fan boy” and Jesse acting like he has a clue about what an “all pro” WR in doing?
Jesse played football for a few years, he wasn’t that good at it. What makes him any better than anyone else?

my man just delete that take. It is really that bad.

Holley has been in QB film rooms and had WR coaches detail the finer aspects of the game and position.
Whatever his ability level and athleticism allow or disallow he has definitely been granted a level of knowledge no fan ever will unless they coach or are coached.

You can learn by watching on TV but you'll never learn what an actual player is taught during WR drills and offensive game planning and film sessions.

While I agree in concept that the defense is not as great as sold, I should also say this the last line is a bit misleading too. The defense was given NO help from the offense against Arizona or San Francisco. Hold on and score a few more points those games change.
Hades, just don't go 3 and out for multiple series to start the game.

Yes, let’s pretend that all Dallas based media coverage of the cowboys is not in some way under Jerry’s thumb.
lol you clearly don’t listen to Jesse on his show and you’re just talking out the side of your mouths. Holley rips Jerry on the regular

Jesse is not wrong! People like to play Monday morning QB when they have no clue of the intricate details or of the intentions within any NFL play....

The fact they couldn't score on the 6 yard line to win the game speaks volumes. Blame whoever or whatever you want to, but they are not a championship contending team right now.

Yeah all the folks on the DallasCowboys.com shows rip the front office when they believe they have screwed up. And they all think Jerry for allowing them the freedom to do so. Anybody that thinks different clearly doesn't listen to the shows as you stated.

I’m not saying he’s not better than the regular guy, or like most of us. But is he better than everyone who digs into film using All22 just because he played? Is Holly as good of analyst as Greg Olson, Tony Romo, or hell Keyshawn? Why not? They played, He played. I don’t buy the stuff he tries to to tell you that it you didn’t play you’re not as smart as he is. It’s not always true. It would be like those other guys saying he can’t be as good as them because they were all pro type players and he wasn’t.

Holley is a paid cowboy apologist. He literally works for the team. If he came out and called Dak gutless like a lot in the national media , he would be out of a job…… so there’s that.
Name me one national media guy who has ever called Prescott gutless. Just 1?
