I know this might sound ridiculous to some, but I wish there was some side converage on him specifically. Im really curious if he can indeed play, or was the show really just another reality show.

I enjoyed watching the show, but I wish I knew if Jesse was playing well or does the guy look as lost and hopeless as I would if I strapped up haha.

Don't forget that Holley was once good enough to start ahead of Hakeem Nicks (2009 1st round pick), Brandon Tate (2009 3rd round pick), and Brooks Foster (2009 5th round pick) while at North Carolina.

Which means absolutely nothing right now.

Also, the reason why he may have started in front of them, is he was the older player which means they start most of time due to experience. Especially in college.

I didn't say that meaning he is a surefire superstar. He did start over them because of age and experience. He just isn't some no-talent guy off the street either. To have started at an ACC program requires some ability.

If a guy that couldn't make the BC Lions makes our team, we're in trouble.

Agreed but the history of the NFL is full of guys who didn't make it their first few tries. Not saying Holley will be one of those guys but if he did it make it, I don't think he'd be the biggest underdog to make a team.

On the Fan earlier i heard Shawn Salisbury and the other host saying Holley was dropping alot of passes. They were unimpressed and thought he has no chance of make the team.

edit: but being that those guys are idiots, i am curious if they have him confused with Stanback who is said to have dropped a ton of balls today.

Irvin said earlier that Jesse hasnt had any opportunities in team play.

Here let me help you out with this.

Jesse Holley, born 1/8/84

Hakeem Nicks, born 1/14/88

Brandon Tate, born 10/5/87

Brooks Foster, born 4/8/86

On a college football roster, Juniors and Seniors will start over Freshmen and Sophomores unless the underclassmen are serious studs.

Like I've said before I'm rooting for him to do well and rooting for him to actually be a success and a help to the Cowboys. It just makes no sense to me, at all, to be rooting against anyone just because you don't like them or how they got here. If they can get on the team and help the team win then that's a plus and everyone should be rooting for that.

Next you are going to tell me that water is wet. I stated that in a follow-up message. You don't think this kid has a little bit of football talent if he was able to start at an ACC school?

Michael Lewis made the NFL a few years back and he didn't play college football at all. He was driving a beer truck. Sometimes, not very often, a player makes it out of nowhere.

Besides, I'm a USC fan where the starters are the best players, regardless of age.

I don't think North Carolina had much talent until Butch Davis took over in 2006.

I read one post at a time quite often. I was responding to one post with a statement that he started ahead of those guys. All I did was point out why that is.

No, I am not all that impressed with him or anyone else who was on that show. I thought it was a giant waste of time, even though it was entertaining.

It is one of my modus operandi. I see something ridiculous and I tear it to shreds. That post isn't the first time I have done this, won't be the last, and was nowhere near the kind of venom I can lace a response with.

It's hardly worth getting all a fluster over. It's just some birthdates.
