When you strip it down Salah had a poor W/L record over 3 years. He can't really have too many complaints.

I think he's an excellent DC and should enjoy his time coaching in that sphere.
He cleaned out many toxic issues his first year. On the 2nd, they went all in for Rogers, who missed the entire season. He's fired four games into his third year, only one game out of first place. This firing was more personal. No way you fire an HC in this situation unless he refuses a direct order from GM and/or owner. Sounds like he lost a power struggle with Brady, Hacket (ms), and Rogers.

Lebron Rodgers facilitating this move.

I know Woody Johnson is a meddling fool, but it's asinine to let this career underachiever (in his 40s) make decisions for the franchise like he's Brady.

This is how it works when you have a "Real," GM and the owner doesnt meddle. Heads roll, and changes will happen. Just accepting mediocrity wont cut it with the Jets. This is why they win!!!!
The Jets win??????

Did I just wake up from a super long coma????

Clearly Rodger’s is running the team. Also many racial overtones with this firing. Anybody think the fact that Saleh is of Lebanese background had something to do with this

If there is anything worse than the deed it's the false accusation of it.

They know the back throw is coming, Aaron Rodgers sucks
now what I'm saying is they expected him to come in and pull a Peyton Manning or something and that doesn't happen very often where a guy in the twilight of his career banged up not his old self can come in and get you a Super Bowl like he did in Denver...

I mean they failed in Denver trying it again with Russell Wilson but I think Aaron Rodgers brought over there because of how great their defense was their running backs they have a good stable of them and they're thinking all we need is a steady veteran quarterback to lead us and then his Achilles injury probably just washed him out I mean he's probably not the same guy they hope they were getting I didn't mean it was 'cause he sucks I'm saying they put it all on him to save the day and when it didn't happen they fired the coach...

I believe there's something going on behind the scenes cause a guy gets walked out by security there had been a lot of butting heads egos yelling screaming he's not on the same page with the GM something happened to get him fired more than his record I mean the record can be overcame that's nothing you're in a tight race in their division it makes no sense except for there was a philosophical difference of some sort of something I think he didn't want to keep Aaron Rodgers in there so he got let go.

Saleh gets paid by the Jets rest of this yr and all of next yr if he doesn’t take another job (DC) , can’t see another HC offer soon .

Jerry was smart not extending MM . Play out the contract see how it goes .

Maybe you have, because the super thick sarcasm that was dripping from my post went right past you. You may be a little groggy still.

My point was the Jets have a "Real," GM, yes? yet they still live in this chaos and continue to stink year after year. But hey... I remember they were in 2 or 3 AFC title games like 10 or so years ago, so they have had more success than the Cowboys......lol

And now we move on...

You feel bad for the man, but him and every NFL coach knows how it works. You get a rare opportunity to be 1 of 32 NFL head coaches and it went south quickly. It always comes down to 1 thing, do you have a QB. Why do you think Dan Quinn said no to leaving Dallas for 2 years? Because he saw no qb coming to the franchise offering him a job. He was very smart. Then he took a job with a high pick in a draft year that had good QB prospects.

He hit big it appears with Daniel. Getting a new coach for the Jets will change nothing. It is change for change sake. Rodgers was already doing and will continue to do what he wants on offense. So what will change? Because the offense is CEARLY the issue with the Jets.

If we make the playoffs and win 11 games this year, id be for keeping Mike, regardless of playoffs. Marty Schotenheimer was a darn good coach. He didnt choke in the playoffs. The gae is the game, his teams just got beat, and it happens.

Mike didnt have a game plan that allowed GB to walk up and down the field. Nor did he have a gae plan that called for Dak to throw a pick 6.
