One, he greatly improves your team's chance of competing for a championship immediately.

Two, he's under contract through 2021 once team exercises his 5th year option.

The Jets are a full burn, dumpster fire. Gase is a total head case and Williams is another whack job. Patriots won't see much of a challenge from their division again this year. The Jets benched Adams and their best CB Monday night in a game where OBJ was putting on a freak clinic and abusing them from every part of the field.
