He's not the 3rd best qb in the league. Enough is enough with his hypeJosh Allen lost that game more than the Jets won it. Allen is one of the best passers in the NFL, great arm. I rank him just behind Mahomes and Burrow. Yet, he threw that game away with unnecessary interceptions. If Dak can keep from doing the same, we beat the Jets easily.
I agree, he's never won anything yet somehow he gets more props and respect than Herbert. Jaylon Hurts is in the same boat for me, I need to see more than 1 season to believe. He's not the 3rd best qb in the league. Enough is enough with his hype
That is who they remind me of....just a very sound defense with a few elite players. The Jets will be a good test. They are San Francisco light.
Saleh mentioned fears of Achilles tear. That defense is very good and they have a good rushing attack. Guess we’ll find out if Rodgers will play later this week. Pass blocking is not good though, so if they get behind by 3 tds it could get ugly.
If we win 40-0, I don’t care how are offense performs. It matters when you want to see how your offense performs against a top tier defense.
Yep, if were up 13-6 at HT we'd hope (and probably get) Dak doing a much better job of controlling and managing the offense than Allen achieved. Our game is better suited ....... more risk averse Texas Coast Offense as opposed to Allen taking risks and (as you say attributing to the loss by causing long yardage scenario's due to boom/bust passing game.Josh Allen lost that game more than the Jets won it. Allen is one of the best passers in the NFL, great arm. I rank him just behind Mahomes and Burrow. Yet, he threw that game away with unnecessary interceptions. If Dak can keep from doing the same, we beat the Jets easily.
Agreed, but NY just won against a pretty good Buffalo team. Dallas is more than capable of winning this one dont get me wrong, but top to bottom the Jets IMO are more talented than the Giants. Coming off a huge blowout and an opponent missing their starting QB its very easy to get over confident. This one should be a dog fight even without Rogers. We also didn't have dan Quinn and micah
Absolutely. And their coach choosing to receive the overtime kickoff only contributed to their loss. As soon as I saw them say they'll take the ball, I knew the Jets would win.Josh Allen's 4 turnovers lost the game. Both of those teams are meh.
Indeed. We can now win 3-0. A win is a win. C'me Dak, take us to the 35 at least once. You can do it. One slant at a time. They better check the moisture in the dome though, not that it makes the ball too slippery. It's unfortunate what happened to Rodgers, but the reality of the situation is that it makes Dallas' job easier next week.
A lot easier. I don't know how well the Cowboys offense will do against that Jets D. It's a good thing we got a warmup game against the Giants. I just don't see the Jets scoring 20 with Wilson at QB.It's unfortunate what happened to Rodgers, but the reality of the situation is that it makes Dallas' job easier next week.
I agree, and I think we win by 2 scoresThe matchup is shaping up to be similar to the other NY team we just embarrassed. With that being said, I don't think we blowout the Jets in the same manner we did the Giants, but we could possibly shut them out.
The Jets-Cowboys game will be a big test for Dak. On one hand if he plays like he did against the Giants the Cowboys will win by two scores because I don’t see Jets moving the football on us. The defense will adjust to the Jets running game. On another hand this is the first home game on CBS against an elite defense and Dak is playing for a big contract extension. I think he will take more chances to get his stats up. That might play right in the Jets hands. We gonna see how much Dak trusts MM’s system with this game. That is who they remind me of....just a very sound defense with a few elite players.
It will be a good test and indicator of what will happen week 6 imo.
