That is TOO funny, it's the first thing that came to my mind when I read the thread title.

SS

Billick's trying to save his job. It'd serve him right to get canned.

He dumped a solid QB in Dilfer right after winning it all.

Grbac was a bust, Boller's followed the other Tedford QBs and now his season rests on a QB more fragile than a card tower.

I can't believe he still has a job. I think it's clear now that he ahd little to do with MInnesota's awwesome season. That, or he just can't tweak the system they had to fit anyone other than Randy moss and Chris Carter. Either way, for such an offensive "genius", he's done nothing but disappoint since coming to Baltimore.

well, whoever is doing our play creation/calling, needs to be FIRED, IMHO

What a funny league. One minute Fassell is telling Sean Payton that he can't call plays, the next he's only wishing he could be in as good of a position as the new golden boy in coaching (Payton) but instead he is getting fired so somebody else can call the plays. Hilarious.

Talk about ironies. Then to take the play calling away from him.

I'd laugh.

You aren't really trying to say Trent Dilfer is a solid QB are you? Please.

To turn a phrase used here very often, the Ravens won that year because of defence and in spite of Dilfer.

Wow. ESPN said the Defense was going to mutiny on Fassel for calling that play that Champ Bailey intercepted last week. The didn't believe that pass should be done against a player like Champ Bailey and were upset by it. Maybe Billick did Fassel a favor.

ESPN does news reports like a melodramatic teenage girl with second hand information, I doubt a "mutiny" was anywhere in the picture although Ray Lewis should be in prison for murder.
