How do you figure firing Jim Haslett was a stupid move? What about his 29th ranked yardage and 30th ranked in points defense for the last five years makes you believe he should've been extended?

LOL, That's funny. He's a damn good defensive coordinator who worked for Dan Snyder. Nuff said.

No, that's not nuff said because you haven't said anything to back that up. When has Haslett ever coached a defense that ranked in the top ten? He wasn't even in the NFL when Shanahan did him a favor and brought him as his DC, which he thanked him by throwing him under the bus to save his own neck. This is addition by subtraction, but unfortunately still not enough done because Allen should've been relieved of his duties too.

I think allen should be gone also, infact sweeping changes needs to be made throughout the organization from scouting all the way to the QB.

I think alot of Dallas fans think he's good because Cover Zero blitzes worked against Dallas a number of times - well until they adjusted and Haslett did not as usual. D'oh.

The question is, why is Bruce Allen still employed? Are he and Snyder lovers the way Snyder and Cerrato were?

They should start with the owner. Otherwise it is all just window dressing.

On second thought, keep Danny boy right where he is.

Unless we win the Super Bowl, I would bet that Cowboys fans like Snyder over Jones. While the general feeling is not optimistic about the Cowboys under Jones, we know the Commanders aren't winning anything with Snyder.

Depends on your perspective. I think they are just prefect the way they are and should stay as close to what they have for years and years.

And I hope Danny Boy lives to be like 120 yrs old and keeps the team until he dies. And I hope they continue to be a loser franchise long after I have departed this earth for my heavenly home!

The only reason I can think of for Bruce Allen still being employed is he tells a great story from when his dad coached this team, and Snyder doesn't want to loose storytime. There are alot of good, young player personnel directors around the league who're just waiting for their opportunity to be the guy. Personnel guys who come from winning franchises. No excuse for us to be forced to watch Allen give political answers to questions during pressers.

Seriously, what decent coordinator will want to go work under Jay Gruden?

I don't like Jay, but I don't think his reputation around the league is as bad as you think. If anything, Snyder's reputation may scare away the best candidates.

I didnt really have an opinion on Jay prior to this season. After watching him this season I think he's somewhat of a clown. That + Snyder may be a deterrent, but $$$$$$$$ will always lure somebody.

You know. I can't say just yet.

It's like you are given a very poor hand in a card game. You could be a good card game player or an up and coming.... But we can't tell until we see you with a better hand?

Yeah - it almost feels like Snyder could be worried that if he fires Bruce Allen - Bruce could go on the media and lambast the organization - how much its changed since the days of his father and Gibbs, etc....and gain some sympathetic ears.

It feels like Bruce is a politician, not a GM.

He doesn't come across as the sharpest tool in the shed, but I do respect his honesty and willingness to criticize RGIII and not treat him differently than everyone else.

The only thing I want to say is thank you to Haslett. His consistent all out / all day blitzing helped us to get better at defending.... Eventually.

I think they both suffer from the same thing. "I can do it all my way" but I wouldn't take Snyder over Jones.

Dare I say, Jones is a better football man than Danny. Danny has years to go before being as good as Jerry.... And Jerry ain't that good!
