I think Crennell gets a pass....he lost his all world Center in the preseason...he had other various injuries to deal with. Cleveland seemed to turn their offense around a bit when Anderson took over as QB....

If they could have a good run at FA and the draft......and then get some luck with health, they could have a solid team next year.

I know, but there's always the hope that the whole "lost the team" angle overcomes. That and maybe Kirk Ferentz decides to leave Iowa. I had heard that Browns' GM Phil Savage has a close relationship with him.

I want a younger coach. Someone like Mike Nolan. I know Mike Nolan isn't going anywhere, but someone like him. Get me a young assistant off a good defensive team to be the coach.

Will Art Shell be returning? W/ the state of that team the way it is and considering his age, I don't see the point of him returning.

If Al Davis fires him again after only giving him one year to turn around THAT team, he should be admitted into a loony bin. He has to at least give the guy a chance.

I wouldn't be shocked to see our own "Black Monday" come next week Hos.

If Zimmer is on that list, it will be a BRIGHT Monday. :D

I agree, but I guess a part of my point was why would Shell want to come back. He's no spring chicken and it'll take years to right that ship. If they were a year or two away from making the playoffs, I can see the point.

If Crennel gets canned fire Zimmer and bring him in ASAP.

Maybe we can get him suited up in time to command our defense this Saturday.

j/k of course... but that's how bad I will want him for DC if he gets canned.

Wasn't this guy a pretty good Defensive Coordinator before he became a head coach. If memory serves me right, he has experience coaching both the 4-3 and 3-4.
