Yet there are plenty of tools out there ready to make print on Pacman and the Cowboys. Nothing of substance but this is the box that comes with the cake.

Its just so handy to take any Cowboy situation and play it in the worst possible light. Old stereotypes die hard. Quit expecting them to go away.

Folks like Doc Walker & now Rome, ESPN, others... they just want to grab hold of an easy bash. Whether its accurate or not doesn't matter because they know a certain percentage of the masses will join right in. They're not going to take the time to think. Their not. Quit expecting them to.

Then on the odd chance that it happens, you'll be surprised.

Why anyone would be willing to watch the media with any expectation that they will validate their positive feelings about the Cowboys is beyond me. How many times must you be hit over the head before you change your expectations?

If Rome was talking to a Cowboy he'd be kissing the Cowboys' arses. He's a joke.

He just interviewed Hamlin on Teusday and raved on and on how it was a great interview. Said he's definitely gonna have him come back on his show.

Dork............

Basically he said: Jerry won't handle Pacman like Coughlin handled Plaxico. "We're all about team and that crap doesn't fly here." No. The Cowboys aren't about team. They're about whatever it takes to win ball games and sell tickets.

I'd file this away in the "who cares???" section

Rome= clown

On the nosey.
It was all over WFAN and also acknowledged by Strahan.

How about that? (in my best Mel Allen voice)

What a stupid comment.

And everybody knows if the Giants didn't have a bye week and would have been playing the Eagles, Cowboys or Commanders, that Plexico Burress would not have been suspended.

By "distraction" standards.... Lax-ico should have been shipped off the planet by now.

Oh, what?!!? T.O. tied his shoes double loop, not over and around = Breaking News!!!

Then he interviewed Justin Tuck, trashed Dallas again and asked Tuck what he thought about the way the Cowboys took care of business. Tuck, of course, no-commented.

I didn't know Jim Rome was alive and well, and didn't know that he was still on the radio.

:laugh2:

The funny thing about how Coughlin handled Plaxico is that if this was 2007, Plaxico wouldn't have been suspended. Coughlin's job was on the line all last year, and he did the only thing he could to save it, win the Super Bowl. Now his leash is a little longer. People give Coughlin way too much respect now because they won a Super Bowl. It is like he is the greatest coach now, when just last year everyone was calling for his head.

Rome is a con. He talks dirt about athletes or gets callers to do the same. Then he's all respectful to them when they come on his show.

he used to trash Michael Irvin alot, but was kissing his butt when he came on the show.
