Basically he said: Jerry won't handle Pacman like Coughlin handled Plaxico. "We're all about team and that crap doesn't fly here." No. The Cowboys aren't about team. They're about whatever it takes to win ball games and sell tickets.

Then he interviewed Justin Tuck, trashed Dallas again and asked Tuck what he thought about the way the Cowboys took care of business. Tuck, of course, no-commented.

Attempting to give a damn now......

nope. can't do it.

wasn't it reported (and confirmed by Plax) that Plax had been fined 50 times by the Giants because of his conduct detrimental to the team? And thus his suspension was a culmination of all of his trangressions. Didn't Jerry Jones indicate that in no time since Pac Man has been a Dallas Cowboy have the Cowboys had to discipline Pac Man? So these two situations are in now way shap or form similiar.

Wow... I am guess I am the opposite of you.... I was hoping Rome would weigh in on this

:laugh2:

The funny thing is Rome has had a lot of the Cowboys on his show. He's had Romo, Ware and Hamlin just to name a few. He always talks highly of Romo. You can't compare the Plax situation to this one because Plax missed/late to meetings/practices and was fined what 43 times. Pacman you can say when it comes to meetings, practice he's been there on time and put his all into it. This had nothing to do with performance on gameday or distrubting practices etc. Plus there was NO CHARGES FILED!!!! This easily could of been any other player. Remember when Moss got into the traffic mess was he really punished? Also Plax wasn't sorry for what he did.

Oh yah, the Giants took care of Plax but when it was certainly beneficial to them. They knew Seattle is point deficient and that offensively without Plax they'd at least put up enough to win that game. The first week of his suspension was their bye week and they basically nailed himfor 2 pay checks where they would only play one game against an offensively challenged team. But Rome wants us to suspend Pac when his bodyguard didn't see fit that the situation be handled further, when we have our # 1 corner out and we play a strong offense with probably the best WR tandem in the league. Heard Boldin is sitting out, nonetheless they can pass the ball around. Yah this compares to how the Giants handled Plax. Plax comesout of his 2 game suspension, laughs it off and basically tells everyone how he has no regrets and is sweating any of this. You haven't heard a peep out of Pac who can't even wipe his own behind without a report or someone in the washroom with him. Jerry has this guy on lockdown all day and pretty much all of the transactions he makes. He isn't punished? Not sure what Jim Rome thinks of that, guess he thinks totally losing his privacy and freedom to make any decision he wants bad or good is a luxury. No Pac hasn't had to answer for anything at all Jim. Don't get mewrong, Pac is ghetto but Jim needs to chill, Jerry has this under control. Goodell would've suspended Pac by now if he could find anything to, he can't. Pac, his bodyguard and cousin were the only ones in the washroom. Anyone saying anything other than them is pure speculation cause they weren't there. Guess what, neither of those 3 coughed up anything worth writing a police report. You have a hotel however who would love to get their name around and welcome everyone to their "fine establishment" according to them. Only reason why a little broken glass umbrella got out.

Did the two restraining orders placed on Plax by his girlfriend come up in the discussion?

No penalty imposed by the NFL for those little transgressions.

I wish i'd be Jime Rome for one day just to know how it feels to not being taken seriously.

I guess when Rome gets his own team he can do what ever he wants with his players.

On the nosey.
It was all over WFAN and also acknowledged by Strahan.

Well I won't be able to sleep at night.

Jim Rome = :mule:

What a stupid comment.

And everybody knows if the Giants didn't have a bye week and would have been playing the Eagles, Cowboys or Commanders, that Plexico Burress would not have been suspended.
