Jim Rome's comments (Rant warning)

Was listening to sports Radio just now and wanted to rip my radio out of my dash due to Jim Romes comments. I typically don't listen to Rome bc I don't like his arrogant attitude, but I knew he was about to talk ab Scandrick's injury and how it would effect the team. Right on cue, Rome continued to talk how doom and gloom The Cowboys season will be trying to cover the top WR we will face this year. He stated that the secondary was horrible last year (which is some what true) and how Scandrick was the best CB the Cowboys had... Also true. BUT he then added that all fantasy owners should start players playing against the Cowboys this season bc Dallas has no one to replace him. Insinuating that our defense will be horrible now that Scandrick's gone. Aaarrggg! I can't stand Rome!

I'm not trying to lesson the loss of Scandrick bc he is a big loss, but Rome is totally discounting our depth. With guys like Patmon, White, Claiborne, and FIRST ROUND pick Byron Jones, Dallas will manage... Not to mention waiver wire cuts soon to be had. I guess he conveniently overlooked what The Boys did in the offseason to beef up the defense and how our secondary hasn't even giving up 200yrds through two preseason games. I know, I know.. It's preseason. But hey, it's been well reported how well and deep out Secondary has been playing so far.
I hate Rome and all the pot stirring he does to belittle the Cowboys every chance he gets. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. I'm over it.

I don't know why people get so worked up and hate Rome. I actually enjoy his show most of the time.

Of course he says things that piss people off. THat's part of it I suppose. I also don't mind Colin either, even though he says things that will make you think "How the hell do you even think up this stuff. "

Yea, I thought he went away, too. I listened to his show a couple of times back when and couldn't take him and his shtick any more than that. That guy seemed so full of himself. At any rate, his opinion matters just as much as mine (which is to mean, "not at all")

Sounds like guesswork. Unless there's a reason for there being more HGH this season.

Maybe it's related to the changes in camp, and guys with tired legs because they aren't as well-conditioned aren't picking their feet up as much. Whenever you get a cleat and a change of direction, you're going to get ACL problems. I can't think of why fewer two-a-days would be a bad thing in that regard, honestly. Assuming, of course, that there actually are more ACLs this year. More turf practice fields, maybe?

I here people sometime complain about a local eatery. How every time they eat there they get the order wrong and they don't care for the food. I looked at them and said, if it is as bad as you claim it is, why in the bald headed hades do you keep going back to it. The look in their eyes are priceless.

Just seems so silly to keep listening to someone you can not stand and then get all worked up over what they say.

But, that is just my opinion.
