BEAST FROM THE EAST...Above is the transcript where Jimmy Johnson admits to the same conduct as Bill Belechik... I had NO intention of mentioning it (or "videogate" until you attacked me for no reason..

Going on opposing teams MB's, you ought to go in expecting that kind of welcome, and ignore it and talk football, instead of leading a pointless "yeah, but look what your team did 15 years ago" crusade. You'll spare yourself some needless aggravation, and gain some respect, as well.

with Belichick, there's a little more alledged against him than just simply video taping the signals...there's also the issue of intercepting the audio signals to the opposing QB or interfering with the audio so that a team couldnt use it

as long as technology is used, somebody will figure out ways to beat the system...the only way to insure none of what Belichick did goes on again is to have players call all the plays themselves or have plays shuttled in with a sub

Probably good advise but I've been around this board for the last couple of days and hadn't encountered any kind of hostility...he kind of surprised me....

Jimmy didn't cheat because it wasn't against the rules when he did it.

Bellicheck did, because it was against the rules when he did it.

Yes - the memo went out late 2006 and it became illegal in 2007.

So Pats in 2001,03,04 were doing nothing illegal and what Dallas did winning two Super Bowls in 1990's.

I believe I read Switzer say he did it also.

At end of day JJ said he stopped because he was getting nothing out of it. Pats 5-0 with new rules in 2007. Sure hasn't hurt them.

Two totally different situations.

HGH is a performance-enhancing DRUG. You take it in your off-time. You are also gaining a competitive advantage when others may not be doing the same thing.

Stealing signals happens during the game. And everyone does it or tries to do it in different ways. What are you suppose to do? Turn your head away when a team is signaling in a play? It's part of a game in motion.

I don't think it's cheating because it's happening during the game. It's like hearing a play being called. If you hear it, you use it to your advantage. If you know what signals mean, you used them to your advantage.

Besides, the NFL doesn't have a rule against stealing signals, just the way in which you steal them.

Nick Saban last year hired a contractor to video Tom Brady and Oline with sound. He was able to figure out Brady's audibles and went on to beat up on Pats and Brady.

Just one of MANY stories of teams trying and figure out signals. There is also a story that Pats last year stopped Jets from taping during game last year and just escorted him out.

Years from now Manginirat is going to be shunned by his peers and out of the NFL. The Hoodie made him a Defensive Coordinator at what age 30 and gave him a chance to coach in the NFL. And et tu Mangini Brute turns him in.

Manginirat better be eating with his back to the wall.

Good for Mangini. Someone was breaking the rules to beat his team and he refused to accept it and called the guy on it.

Gotta love it when people defend cheaters.

How can anyone defend Mangini? Good for him? He cheated his way into a head coaching gig, he never had a problem with it until he got pounded by the Patriots.

Yeah, good for him. He owes it to his owner, fans, coaches, and players to not allow an unfair advantage over his team to continue.

And do you really think Eric Magini was in charge of Tapegate for the Patriots organization?

Do you think he diddnt know about it? He never had a problem with the fact that his organization were cheating or that he got a head coaching job based off of years where cheating occurred. He is a hypocrite and its laughable to see people trying to defend him like he is some great purveyor of justice and whats right in the NFL.
