Jimmy Johnson should be a concrete in if anyone ever was. He came into one of the worst franchises in NFL history and turned them into automatic SB champions in a few years. He built a team that went on the road into SF, young, talented and playoff inexpereinced on the road and guaranteed a win and pulled it off in dramatic style. He would have another two rings on his fingers if we didn't fall behind in a 21-0 before the game even started in the third SF rematch. And for sure would have won a few more, had Jerry been able to set aside his damn pride.

The same reason Cliff Harris, Chuck Howley, and Leroy Jordan aren't in. It's the Bob Ryan's of world butthurt who have an admitted axe to grind about the Cowboys. Especially Cowboys fans who talk about how we have guys not in the hall better than the guys some teams have gotten in. Plus 70s Steelers bias.
