All NFL players now are divas.

Not all NFL players have the option of running to the owner.

Successful franchises dont let the players run the team. You dont like how hard we practice here? Ill talk to your agent and find a solution for you. Or you can sit on the bench.

This franchise CODDLES players like something I have never seen.

Right, so maybe it's time, as fans, we stop coddling them. Maybe it's time we start making it clear that we won't tolerate them quitting on the field anymore. We won't tolerate pathetic effort after pathetic effort.

It's not just the players. It's the culture. The Cowboys are too pampered. Just look at Prescott and Zeke. Zeke should be out of the league by now. But we reward him with his lack of production.

Which is why I was saying yesterday that maybe it's time we fans step up. We play in the NFC East. Let's act like it. Let's, you know, learn how to hold the players accountable the way they do in the rest of our division.

I agree 100 percent.

Unfortunately I dont know if you saw it but Stephen Jones has already said that they dont care if OUR fans dont show up because AWAY fans will fill the stadium.

I am paraphrasing but that is literally what came out of his mouth.

Everyone ^^^^ is correct!

Frustrating to see athletes getting paid millions to play the sport of football for our team, yet they are softer than a roll of Charmin toilet paper. No meanness. No toughness. No fire or desire. No fight in them. You can't yell, punish, drill or work them out hard because they will go cry to Jerry Jones, their agents and the NFLPA. Yet, they demand they get paid millions.

Beyond frustrating! :banghead:

That's why I was saying what I was saying yesterday. Maybe it's time as fans that we take the initiative to make clear to the team that the way this offseason was run and the way the team is performing is unacceptable.

Exactly, and I knew that. I was saying that well before he said that. I was saying that I knew that opposing fans will take over if we quit as fans. So, instead of that, it's time we as fans understand why Philly and New York are so ruthless to their teams. It's time we, instead of rolling over or quitting like our players do, toughen up as fans. We play in the NFC East! It's time we act like it! It's time we ask our friends who are Eagles fans how to be as ruthless to our team as they are. You think the last 29 years would fly in either Philly or NY? That's because their fans are tougher than we are.

Unfortunately.

While I agree with you, nothing the fans can do will affect Jerry. Our hope is that they lose again in bad fashion to San Fran on primetime and the NFL steps in and takes away some primetime slots from the Cowboys. That will get the old Jerry back.

Not so fast there. Did you notice something in the way he's been talking to the media since Sunday? Jerry has gotten sensitive. Jerry has been showing that he's not willing to take criticism very well. He can't ban all of us from the stadium. What's he going to do? Buy new fans? Maybe we can use his sensitivity against him.

Just as how teams gameplan for their opponents, maybe there's something we can use in Jerry's newfound sensitivity. We have three division rivals who are experts in exploiting that. Maybe it's time we learn how to affect our players and Jerry. Maybe it's time we ask them how to do it. I was talking to a friend of mine who's fursuit is basically the Eagles mascot. He said we are WAAAAAAY to nice of a fan base. He was saying how basically Philadelphia would never let this fly.

We have had the same criticisms of players for decades now.

There is no magic formula or coaching style that can make bad players into champions. Jimmy would probably get rid of half the players on this team by now.

Right, but how are we criticising them and the ownership? Maybe we need to rethink how we do it. We're a fanbase of many millions. Surely, we can be innovative enough to learn some new strategies of our own. The players and team don't fear us fans nearly as much as they should. Suppose we did make them fear and respect us the way they do in Philly?

Love it!!!!

Just goes to show Jerry learned nothing while Jimmy was here. Just a shame....literally had front row seats to see how to build a winner...and has tried to reinvent the wheel for 30 years since.
Honestly....it's laughable

I won't ask the hard question HTF do you lose perspective on how to build a winning culture?

But here we are....

But, maybe as fans it's time we learn how to assert and demand better the way the rest of our division does.

The people who call out Cee Dee on threads lose credibility .
Yeah, I don't get that at all. CeeDee is one of the few ballers on this team and IMO the best player on the team. He plays hard, he truly wants to win, he sacrifices his body, he doesn't just quit when things get tough.

I think it's just that he got paid. Plus some want to defend Dak at all costs.
