I didn’t change his stance. His point was weirdly inaccurate. I’ve always respected Ranching but this is a weird hill to die on when he hates when Dak “haters” pop up. If Jimmy constructed an All Star team snd then coached them. Well then he’s responsible. I just don’t get the all or nothing stance on many of these issues
You make perspective up now...he spoke directly as a successful Head Coach, himself. What about that do YOU not comprehend.Yet you insult him for just knowing better through his own experience. Exactly how many people have you been accountable and the actual leader for, creator of operation missions, and accountable for their success actually for? You have no real concept for quick imput required for any real roster recreation and training is involved in a franchise that quickly. It was not all done by Jimmy Johnson. It took a team and even then, Jimmy wanted more power that was not on the table. As a professional, Jimmy did owe Jerry as well as his players and support team's work for what was done. He owed Jerry respect as his own boss and his players the loyalty they earned from sacrifice through work and from team play. They obeyed and achieved in games as a team. Jimmy sold them out the week of the second Super Bowl trying to become a GM for another team, the week before playing for the 2nd Lombardi. That isn't in question as well.

Jimmy was an important part as the Coach, yea, a good one...but it took an entire team's work and a huge gamble by Jerry. A huge guarantee that Jerry had to first win in the wildcatter's world and gambles and putting life on the line itself to drill and be successful at.

Ranching knows the world well that involves the position of a Head Coach...respect that and understand all elements before just being insultive. You really don't have enough on a plate through one's own experience to opine with one's own assumed right of enforcement. That's no more than an opinion, then...yours was foolish as well.

You sound like your having a bad day. LOL
Steve---well little frustrated i have to wait so long for game...i thought it was because other games being played but nope....still on extended Christmas break..These Lions have a good O line and really good RB....we will not die a slow death of getting run down our throats again...and we dont really have
the linebackers for a run heavy team....so the guys up front are going to have win a lot....now on offense...i wish we had Rico but Deuce can help out
and who knows the little guy might break one?...at least he dont fumble...and Pollard is a beast....and Dak better do whatever to set up the pass and just
beat these kitty cats ..oh i mean Lions...hope you are having good day:grin:

It's pretty common knowledge that this was not on Jerry it was a 50-50 thing they parted ways it was going to happen anyway...

Jimmy Johnson is literally like bill Parcells,, he wasn't going to stay around very long, anybody who thinks this was going to end up like New England and Bill Belichick just did not understand the dynamic of the head coach and Jimmy Johnson. he wanted to leave he needed a new challenge just like bill Parcells who didn't stay here long enough to finish anything either ,

BUT hey blame Jerry, that's the easy thing for thios fanbase but we all know that these types of coaches burnout easy and need a new challenge and there's no way that Jimmy Johnson was going to stay past let's just say 1998 and I don't believe he doesn't win any more Super Bowls than Barry Switzer did with the same team..

you know why because Jimmy knew once all his players left, they were retiring , they were injured, they were old he was leaving as well..

there is no way he was staying to try and reset this team given also the fact how free agency was changing, the salary cap the league was changing, in front of everyone and yet all we do is blame Jerry Jimmy had everything to do with it as well. Let's be honest there was no more Herschel Walker trades coming it was the end of an era whether Jimmy stayed three more seasons or switched mocked it up for him with his players it was gonna all end the same around the same time and I don't think history would have changed I don't think there's a curse I don't think anything everybody's been saying for 28 years blaming Jerry for the break up as if something better was going to come had they not broke up had simply Jimmy retired in 1998.. Seriously all these narratives for for all these decades have been wrong in my opinion we all know how it would have went and yet we still just want to blame Jerry...

Nate Newton would know as much and it sounds like this is more of a Jimmy thing it was jimmy's ego that bumped heads with Jerry's ego but Jimmy wouldn't let it go that was his boss and that's how the blow up happened at the restaurant and the rest is history but either way the blame is not on Jerry Jones solely it was a mutual parting of ways and it was gonna happen anyway...

Thank you.

Before there was a John Wick, there was Jimmy Johnson a man of focus.

Don't worry guys ... Jerry to make the induction about Jerry.

The curse will never be lifted so long as Jerry is in charge.

You witch hunt also? I don't think I'd walk around black cats, neither. Now that as a point of contention isn't the real deal here. One either gives him respect or doesn't. The award is the privilege on it's own merits.

Maybe the curse goes away, after tonight. Expect Jerry to place himself in every photo.
your profile pic is Dez right?....i loved Dez....he could outmuscle any corner back or safety and jump....6 foot 3 ..225 pounds pure muscle and fast twitch....dont get me wrong i like CeeDee a lot

and he going to break Irvins record most catches in a season....and CD has gotten a lot stronger.....but Dez in his prime along with that freak on Lions 6-4 230 and runs a 4.3...those two would kill ya...but we got good weapons
as long as we can have good scheme so we use the pass...CeeDee, Cooks, and Gallup ( who has finally healed from ACL--takes 2 years) and Ferguson..and some Turpin..and shoon...we have good crew....lets put beatdown on lions...in fact i am putting up a PLAT....and all the negative nancy's can whine oh no now we are cursed

Hey...hold up, CCboy! You ever play some blues on guitar with some black cats on guitar?

I have a black cat that lives with me. Hey, if you can find a black cat for a pet...you got a cool cat....but scary to fools.

He never gives less than all for the good of his team. All long journeys have many mistakes...but one can live with a real heart and concern on that journey. But belly aching 'fans.'
B.S. He has held this team hostage because he won't fire himself as GM.

It was classless for ESPN to call the documentary that.
How do you figure? The underlying back story of that 30 for 30 was the black market shirts that some ND student was selling like hotcakes in the weeks leading up to the game.

That was what the shirts said, word for word. Kid got in trouble by the University of Notre Dame for selling them

It was a pretty interesting side story in conjunction with the game

It is a shame what a circus, pathetic and mediocre franchise this team has become. Jimmy was the only good thing tonight, This team is pathetic
