We lose Dat.

We lose Flo.

We lose Al S.

We are starting a rookie at RT.

We lost JJ for a period of time.

We are playing a banged up Henry.

We are playing 5 rookies on defense then we lose a game................and some want to fire the head coach.

Unreal.

I had a gut feeling our run D would go down the drain when Al and Dat went down.

Frankly-no excuses. Even with all our injuries, we've managed to show alot of heart and kept games in striking distance.

Sorry-Rob and Torrin were BRAGGED about here last week-only to turn in junior high school-ish performances today.

Heck-Newman was WORSE. This guy's likely going to the Pro Bowl.

Yes. But so are the other teams in the league. Gibbs outcoached Parcells hands down. Where's Ellis? Don't we need to stop the running games as of late? Oh yeah, Ellis and Glover are not Parcells guys. If you're not a rookie or a former Parcells trainee you have a strike against you. Gibbs works with what he has. Why does Julius continue to play when he gains two yards per carry or less consistently?

Ever hear of effort? There was none and it was up to the coach to produce as well as the coordinators and none of them remotely did their job. It doesn't matter if we were banged up-they were too.

Sarge is right and actually so are you. We had a bunch of very young guys playing today in a key game. We were overmatched in a couple of key spots. Our young guys were clearly overcome by the moment.

But our talent level is not up to where we could afford the injury problems we have had. The coaching staff gets a share of the blame today but I'm not sure any scheme would have worked because the O-Line was not ready. How many false starts did we have?

Tuna can not, and should not, have to hold the collective hands of the players and asst coaches. Nor should the team have needed a motivational speech prior to kickoff. This is the type of game where "getting up for" should be automatic. That doesn't just fall on Bill only. The asst coaches and players are to blame just as much, if not more. It's called accountability. It seems to me that the only time the asst coaches(Payton & Zimm) come up with a real good gameplan is after a bad game. That is unexceptable in my book. With saying this, the 'Boys should dominate the panthers next week, right?

No excuses are needed, but I will give some REASONS today's game unfolded the way it did.

1) simply got our @$$es whupped. up and down the roster, we were out-played.

2) our coaches were out-coached. the players looked unprepared and that falls on the coaching staff. Payton and Zimm have been out-coached to many times this season.

While I do think there will be changes in the coaching staff during the offseason, TUNA STAYS. Unless there is a complete 180, Payton and/or Zimm will be gone. Think about it, who do you think Jerry has higher on the firing list? Bill, Payton, or Zimm? I wouldn't be surprised to see Bill be even more hands-on starting TOMORROW. And I wouldn't be surprised to see Dom Capers come in as D-coordinator next year. Jimmy is done coaching, please understand that.

i know bill is a good coach when it comes to xx's and oo's .

i simply feel he is a stubborn man set in his ways.

he wants only players he has drafted in the past or has played for him.

who knows what drew henson would have become if given a fair chance last year.

what does he do........he pulls him at halftime on thanks giving.

what does he do today with tucker ...........nothing.

what does he do with the team at halftime....nothing.

parcells needs to retire or get the hell out of dallas.

this is my opinion..and i deserve one after 30 years of watching this team.

if jerry jones can step in and fire a legend like tom landry.then he damn sure better get some nuts and fire this burnout.

The primary reason we will lose again next week at Carolina. Very good post.
