I understand the benefits of consistently turning the roster, but it seems like replacing 1/3 of the team every off season is not a good strategy.

Everyone wants to sign free agents who can make us better, but we aren't just being stubborn. We really can't afford it. We have to use our cap room carefully, and that situation won't improve while Romo is under contract. Next year things will be better, and more so the following year. This is the cost of having restructured the franchise QB a number of times, paying your franchise WR, and paying all the other guys on the offense, including the OL.

Yes weve got a pretty nice list of secondary players that went on to have prosperous careers for another team. I wonder if a better pass rush would help?

I don't remember the timing, but eventually free agents doesn't count against the supplemental draft calculations. We will most likely be waiting for that date to sign anyone.
