Is anybody visiting us? Lol

Pretty much the same approach we have taken for 5 years. It's stressful as a fan but we have had arguably our best two seasons in 20 years during that span.

We won't do much till next week likely. I hope we do something though.

I know, brother. It's just frustration spilling out.

But if we win, and we fill the holes, continue to draft well, and we re-sign Martin, it'll be worth it.

Ok guys so this is a serious question. I liked church a lot. I'm sad he left. But realistically how much better is he than Heath? Are we really going to go with heath and jones ?

If you believe the rumors, Dallas identified S, WR, and DE as the biggest needs of improvement.

If that is true, its pretty clear they were not pleased with the play of our safeties last year. I suspect they will draft one pretty early to compete for a starting role if they are that down on our safeties.

I find it hard to believe we arent pursuing

I find that hard to believe too. If someone offers him a 3 year 9 year deal the Cowboys would have zero interest?

The jury is still out on Heath. And the only reason its out is that he did some decent stuff in the playoffs for us. Otherwise, he's a special teamer. Maybe there's more there. I personally think he's a good depth player and could get exposed with more playing time. But may be he's not.

I think it had more to do with them thinking Church and or Wilcox would be overpaid. I think they want Mo or Carr here. Possibly both. They knew they couldn't bring everyone of them back and probably shouldn't with the lack of turnovers they got.

Church doesn't have a identifiable skill set. He was just veteran player who learned enough about the league to be starter. But purely from skill set...Church should not be difficult to replace.

I heard JJ say there were two positions. I find it hard to believe CB isn't one of them. We cannot play a game right now with what we have.

Yep. JJ said that.

And another report stated according to those in player personnel, S, DE, and WR were viewed as main areas to improve.

The only explanation for Dallas not being in the mix at this point is that the front office just doesn't like JJ as a starter.

He's not going to command big money and Dallas seems to have a need unless Frazier is the answer as depth with Heath

Which, honestly, isn't an outrageous position to take. I don't think Wilcox would be a good starter either. I think he found his role last year in the nickel/dime defenses.
