What I've been doing lately during games is mute the tv and then do my best Clove impression while reading out loud his play by play. Then I'll jump in as myself and do the color commentating. We've got some good chemistry so far. I consider us CowboysZone's #1 duo. We always get the big games.

Replayed the play....Green is moving a millisecond before the snap...in slow motion. In real time it would have been very hard to detect. Not like a huge missed call.

today's game should not have been his eulogy with that network.

And yes..he is sucking up to Aikman and his bosses because I think he wants to MC the Masters or the Indianapolis 500 and become the next Howard Cosell.

Please..can you take him from the booth and just put him on the sidelines so he can suck up better to the players and coaches and fill his autograph book.

Everyone was worried about him at the left tackle spot since he has pretty much played exclusively on the right. I am not sure when you saw him play right tackle. I don't think he has played it in a regular season game.

He definitely got away with one. Maybe there are a couple more, but they are so close that you have to really see them in slo mo to be sure....that close, they probably aren't going to call it.

And here I thought all you did was just replay all the Eagles Champsionship games while you had the Cowboys game on mute

I love watching the game on TV because I can turn down the volume on the center channel of the surround sound while turning the other channels up. If you do that you are only left with the game sounds - sometimes you can hear a VERY faint murmur of announcers talking, but you can't understand what they are saying. Mostly you hear the guys on the field and the announcer in the stadium. Unfortunately it doesn't work when I have to stream games because they aren't in dolby.

That said, I thought (without any announcers) that Green was moving early frequently. I was also amazed at the personal foul penalty, because I've never seen a failed third down attempt overturned on what appeared to be such a ticky tack call when Romo was playing. 10 years as one of the best QBs in football and he gets less protection than Dak is already seeing. It boggles my mind.

He's flying under the radar BIG time. Man, what a revelation he's been. Need T. Smith 100% obviously but I'd be curious to see how good Chaz is at R.Tackle. Not looking to kick Free to the curb yet but....close.

That said, I thought (without any announcers) that Green was moving early frequently. It boggles my mind.

One thing I believe is that the calls are biased, but toward close games instead of being for one team or another. That call with Dak happened when SF was up by 14 points, if Dallas punts there and SF goes into the half up by 17 the audience turns off the game - and the NFL loses millions of dollars in advertising revenue.

If you look out for it, the bad calls or close calls always seem to happen in order to keep the game close.

We finally had a little luck with the refs and I'm thrilled.

But yeah, please don't expect to get away with this every week, Chaz.

Well, he mainly played left tackle all through preseason. Played pretty well when the starters were in with him. Didn't do so hot when there was a lot of UPS drivers around him. I think he plays better within the system rather than being a great player that will excel anywhere. Either way, he has been playing pretty well in Smith's absence. When the biggest complaint is that he might be jumping the snap a few times a game, we have to call it a win.
