You try preparing to face this roster and see if you don't get desperate. He's not being signed for his QB skills. Classic move to get someone who knows the Cowboys playbook....
There are 30 years of examples of this franchise not knowing what to do with their players, and leave up to Howie to pin this to the teams bulletin boardI think its an ego/approach thing with Milton. I remember hearing rumblings.
I could be a thousand percent wrong, but am searching for answers. Not to say he was all world, but the logic still confuses me. We traded a pick to develop a guy, who actually appeared to be developing, only to let him go regardless.
Im not saying this is a huge loss. I just don't understand what we were doing with Milton in general. If it is about intangibles, ego and such it would help to explain how little he appears to be valued in general.
If I'm not mistaken, in order to protect him we'd have to promote him to the active roster. They obviously didn't have a good opinion of him.Agreed-don't understand the whole process.
We paid a price for a player, developed him, then let him leave to our rivals.
Either we are incredibly stupid or we have overpaid yet again.
1. He wasn't signed for his QB skills, he was signed to run for 200 against usHe's not being signed for his QB skills. Classic move to get someone who knows the Cowboys playbook....
I’m hearing 30-45 days from Philly fans.I’m curious how long Hurts will be out now.
He won't get it there eitherGreat opportunity for Joe. He deserves a legit shot somewhere and he wasnt going to get that here.
U know this place, hate our own but now Howie got him so now Milton is greatDoes anyone actually care?
Or what!!!!!!!!! You'll start a post bashing him and telling everyone that supports you, "post of the day"?Our backup QB better be ready!!!!!!!
Thats all it ever was to begin with. Milton was never going to be a pro starting QB he barely was a starting college QBAnother wasted draft pick....
