Joe Milton to Eagles Active Roster

[Whirlwin]

Yes the NFL thought so highly of Joe Milton he sat on waivers for 36 hours unclaimed and returned to the Cowboys' practice squad.

Where he remained unsigned another six and a half weeks before a team with a major QB injury decided to bring him in.

I understand, but now they need him he might be the best backup quarterback in the league

He was bound to go somewhere. Dallas didn’t seem too eager on promoting him.

Wish him good luck. I hope this is not one we're looking back at shaking our heads.

[Ironicalicon]

Surprised it took this long for him to be claimed and not surprised at all it was finally the Eagles.

[ShiningStar]

you guys are arguing like they might use him. bigger chances are good they wont.

and its not like they need secrets now a days, thats so 90s. Will you guys stop thinking coaches are morons in this league. "OMG GUYS, hve you heard? Dallas throws to their WR's!!!

NFL: loses its mind

[SwagSurfer]

His best shot was here in Dallas. Dak is 34. Hurts is quite a bit younger. Both teams are highly invested in their QBs. If you're a backup looking for playing time, play behind the older QB

Dak still has at least 3 years. Him going to philly NOW with Hurts out for potentially the remainder of the season gives him an instant opportunity.
