Crap. I wanted to keep that guy around. All the best to him.
This sums it up. He is not some future star. Sure, he could light up Dallas but who couldn't right now.Milton is 26 years old, he's not some raw 21 yr old rookie. He has never shown that he has anything resembling what it takes to be an NFL QB, other than possibly the strongest arm I've ever seen. I read Mandarin as well as Joe reads defenses, which is to say not at all.
And people are still pining for him. Jones didn't waste a pick when Philly claimed Milton. Jones wasted the pick the istant he traded for Milton.
He can't play.
Who cares he was a scrubI think its an ego/approach thing with Milton. I remember hearing rumblings.
I could be a thousand percent wrong, but am searching for answers. Not to say he was all world, but the logic still confuses me. We traded a pick to develop a guy, who actually appeared to be developing, only to let him go regardless.
Im not saying this is a huge loss. I just don't understand what we were doing with Milton in general. If it is about intangibles, ego and such it would help to explain how little he appears to be valued in general.
I wish him the best.Wish him the best just not against us lol
