i understand jjk, now i was on the reverse the draft, i was all for the cowboys trading down, in fact, i said on several posts that i thought the cowboys would trade down the 3rd pick, since was 5th in 3rd round and the war daddy pick in the 4th round that was the first pick in the 4th round.

What i was ticked off about, the cowboys had a chance to get a Loadbolt, big OT from oklahoma, and a few other picks with that 2nd pick they took. Then, they had a chance to get sammie hill, which we need a big run stuffing NT to help spell ratlilff. Reports came in some last year, that ratlilff was wearing down somewhat at the end of the year. Due to taking on 2 offensive linemen. Or we could have taken duke robinson or herman johnson or louis vassquez, or a speed wr like mike thomas or johnny knox, which we need especially on punt returns.

thats why i was upset, again i was all for trading down, and loading up in the 2nd to 5th round, thats where the strength of the draft was after it fell off after the 48th to 50th pick.

I do think we got some good players in jason williams, i look at him and see him like a young darren woodson, but capable of playing linebacker or thomas henderson wthout the drama. I think stephen hodge will be a dynamic special teams player and a passing down coverage guy like bill bates was on certain passing downs. I love the mickens pick, i see a star on him, kinda like scandrick was. Brandon the de from texas tech is a young star in making, just has to get bigger and stronger, since he is only 20. Stephen Mcgee to me will be a good backup for romo after kitna retires. Brewster might be a player, films and games ive seen him on, he is a player, just has to get stronger, has the size. The other players im iffy on.

Its funny you mentioned Loadholt, I just read Randy Galloway's article today on the Cowboys and he mentioned Loadholt: Matt Mosley of ESPN.com reported from New York on draft day that the Cowboys had Loadholt’s name on the draft card at 51, then decided to trade down. Loadholt went two picks later. I too wished they would of taken Mike Thomas, I really liked him in the later rounds. As far as a backup NT. From what Ive read recently, is that Wade Phillips really likes Junior Siavii. Apparently, last year after Siavii was released, Phillips wanted to cut Tank Johnson and resign Siavii, but Jerry did not pull the trigger. Don't know too much about Siavii, but he is a load at 6-5, 320.

time will tell jjk;
i think one thing that will help junior, best i remember he roomed with igor the de from san diego, and they competed against each other in college, and now they will push each other in camp etc

so that will help, yep, it was real weird the way the cowboys had loadholt on card, then passed him up, i know they wanted unger too;

so it looks like now, if you look at the draft, wade drafted primarly for defense and special teams;
and wade got jerry to release tank, adam jones, and T O, so seems like along with signing ex players of wades like Igor and brooking; so looks like wade is ggetting to get players he wants etc

so now its up to wade to prove it that he is a good head coach, time wil tell is all that i can say about that;
