I respect Bosa for acknowledging/criticizing himself on how tough the transition can be. And while he didn't run a great 40 time, he did post some solid numbers in other areas...which along with his motor, could translate well to the next level. Obviously remains to be seen.

It's often difficult to come in and have a big impact as a rookie pass rusher...and perhaps even harder to predict impact via round taken. As I've previously posted...last season, the two rookie sack leaders were a 2nd round pick (Preston Smith, 8 sacks)...and a later 3rd round pick (Danielle Hunter, 6 sacks).

Boo! He sucks, just like Aaron Donald for not starting most of his rookie season. Right guys?

This whole thread is silly because:

  1. HE is the one that was criticizing himself
  2. The coaches sounded impressed and, most of all
  3. It was his very first NFL practice and was in shorts

Silly

Zeke's going to find that pro linebackers fill the holes faster than college linebackers.

He'll get 100 yards and 2 TDs in the opener.

And then I'll tag you with a "Boy you should have known by now, EZ does it" and a ~Furley sniff~.

Can't wait.

It's cool that a guy can be labeled a bust before the pads even come on.

I mean, I'm not a fan of Bosa at all, but I would wait until he at least actually faces an opposing OT before making any proclamations.
