I think he was primarily playing as a safety today

Well, just like I thought Porter being on the field they're going to look somewhere else most of the time. He's not going to be perfect. He's just going to be what we've been dying for a really good cornerback who can play man coverage. Now if we only had two more of him and a couple of safeties I could actually play that would be great

I’m interested in seeing their snaps because when we drafted Downs I thought it allowed him to be safety and send Bland to the nickel.

Bland doesn't belong on Dallas Defense after this year.

He can play nickel for wherever he can find work next year.

Ferg is another one post June 1st save 7 million in 2027.

I think once Porter was acquired it meant Bland was gone.

Yep, horrible, late throws by QBs, where Bland had easy breaks on the ball. The only one that was impressive was the crossing route against the Panthers, but that ball was arguably delivered late too..

Truthfully he’s just getting beat. Some good coverage some he’s beat. It’s more acceptable on a rookie deal. 20 plus million a year….and he’s no longer generating turnovers which in part is because of the pass rush.

I think its more the system than pass rush. Harris generated alot of interceptions with his CB scheme. Did it last year two with Wright. I think he made those guys

Yeah this isn't how you measure impact. You're just giving me individual stats. Here's the real impact - 30 points allowed to a bad offense.

He doesn't matter. I already know he's a very good player but he won't fix what ails this defense.

Bland’s best season he was playing boundary 90% of the snaps. His rookie year was the only season he played a majority of snaps in the slot

He also had 5 interceptions (1 off the league lead) the year before he led the league. Not happy with him, and want him gone at the moment, but before the injury, it wasn't just one year.

I think it depends on the team. I could see Chicago giving us a pick or two for him. They have Al Harris, and he might be on board to get him.
