I know most folks here hate Jim Rome but he used to have a hilarious quote about this: "Any sport that you can get your highest score after a 6-pack is not a sport."

...why he hits such a long ball is he over rotates his swing as you can see in the picture. It rarely is straight as shown by the fact that he is consistently one of the longest hitters, but rarely scores in driving accuracy on the tour.

As for "outdrinking" people, the gut is a sure fire tip off.

Kicking their butts, I would think he would have trouble catching up to them never mind kicking them.
