John Gruden

What happened in Oakland? They drafted Carr and were looking like an upcoming good team. Boy, have they regressed.

Never been a big fan of old retread coaches. It worked with Vermeil, and Parcells to a much lesser degree, but that's about the only ones I can remember.

They have the oldest team in the league - horrible running game, overrated wide receivers, no defense to speak of (especially now that Mack is gone). There is literally nothing good about this team. It will take years for this team to get where they need to be. Now that I think about it, it's the perfect head coaching job for Garrett.

Gruden knows the game but it's clear coaching the game has passed him by.

Odd to bring this up in the middle of a game they won (though Cleveland was screwed by replay).

I am going to retract my statement on the refs. Upon further examination, it (the spot) was the right call. The Carr fumble was still terrible, though.

I think they lost some of their offense from 2016. And their D was never that good. I think they are in the process of rebuilding to some extent. Probably why they got rid of Mack, which was probably a mistake.
