John Lynch on Murray

I'm glad you are starting to appreciate Parnell. I'd like to move Free to LG although I'm certain he can anchor there. Leary has been problematic although the entire interior has had some problems with pass blocking...on occasion. It appears to be slowly getting better.

Did you notice Fuzzy if they blitzed either A gap in the Was game and esp if they stacked a blitz or stunted into it?

Yeah they ran inside twists and sent the house a few times. This time we made them pay. I remember seeing it but I haven't rewatched the game yet to give a good account of rates or the like.

I think flipping Leary and Martin would be a good compromise.

I guess Lynch forgot about the hand injury. Murray doesn't run as hard as he did before soley because of the hand...he's not broken down or whatever he was trying to make it seem like.

"There has been something wrong with Murray's game the last couple of weeks." Maybe not an exact quote, but words to that effect during the game broadcast.

What the heck was he talking about?

They call it "surgery" but he still played

I did think he ran out of gas on his long run against Washington.

So his begi8nning to change hands to his left (broken) and then deciding not to do so had what affect on your opinion?

He was talking crap. Trying to create a story before the playoffs. Same thing every year.

Whats more ridiculous is the fact that after his comment most people jumped on the bandwagon. They did not cite him but used his words. Its a copycat league.
Before the WAS game nobody ever talked about a decline in Murrays game and now all of a sudden everybody has seen it for the last couple of games ?

I mean creating a story is one thing but please.... do it on a more creative way.

Anyways .... You got to sell your product.....

Right when lynch said Murray was slow, worn down, and can't break tackles anymore. ..... Murray busted through the line, broke 4 or 5 tackles and scored a TD

I thought so too and it was backed up by his yards per carry. People will say teams were loading up the box but I think there was more to it than that.

He looked a little energized last week though.

As have been many. Jimmy Johnson also said its time to take them out. Jimmy's a hater! :D

Pretty much everyone was saying pull them in the 4th at the latest.
Certainly anyone criticizing for risking Romo, Murray, Dez et al were just voicing an opinion that had far more backing than those of us that didn't mind them playing.
Nothing to do with ding a hater in this case.

I supported Garret and could see why he had that mindset (2007), but I would not have complained one bit if Romo sat that entire game.
In the end,we had a couple of key injuries, but no telling if they would have say out anyway.

I'd have to see a replay to know if I really believe he ran out of gas. I just know that the thought ran through my head at the time.

i didnt notice any change until the hand injury...im sure he's just running different to protect his hand and ball.

Thank you. Dude has a surgically repaired hand.

Its kind of important seeing that's what he carries the ball with.

No biggie.....

Murray has been slowing down. It's to be expected when you've been carrying the ball as much as Murray. We need to mix in both Randle and Murray to maximize our effectiveness.

Teams have committed more resources to stopping the run hence Romo has hit more big plays down the field to Dez, TW, Witten, etc.

Meanwhile Romo went full MVP the last 4 games thankfully

Yeah. And I think a lot of that can be attributed to defensive players taking that extra half second to make sure Murray doesn't have the ball.

He has slowed down or something. The stats indicate such.

but I really didnt think much about it until after the surgery.....

I am thinking its more then just that, but surgery didnt help!!

Defenses Keying on him.
The load he has carried all year.
The injury to hand.
The surgery.

I think its a combination of things.

I really thought he should have made a cut to the sideline on that play to give himself a chance at more yards and a TD. He wont outrun too many people, but you have to try...... But he didnt. He stopped and went right at the defensive back leaving a lot of yards on the field.

He hasnt looked the same at all. Even his 2-3 yard and "No gain" carries. which are very important to this team.....

I bet he comes out gunning in this playoff stretch though......

whatever the case. as long as that linebacker or DL looks for him first on most plays, then keys Romo Secondarily.

I think Romo will be able to chew any defense up and put up points!!!

No doubt the Lions notice all this too.... maybe they make that mistake during practice this week, and push keying on Romo. And Murray.....goes off!!!!

whatever the case may be. The only logical conclusion to all this analysis is Romo or Murray or both break NFL records this weelk!!!!:) How could any intelligent reasonable person conclude anything else???
