Manziel has no trade value. CLE would be lucky to get a 6th round pick for him. You guys act like acquiring him means we've anointed him Romo's heir.

I swear to God if this is the plan after Romo, if I have to hear that salesman winking moron tell me they bypassed a QB in the draft because of Manziel, I'm going to lose it.

We felt real good in terms of comfortability that Johnny allowed us to look in a different direction with that first pick. So please welcome, Vernon Hargreaves, our newest Dallas Cowboy.

It would be just as big of a waste to pass on either Lynch or Goff if they turn out to be franchise QBs

Odds are against them and again, you're taking a huge risk with Romo's remaining time. Drafting a qb in the first with him on the clock makes no sense. Romo is a top 5 QB in the league, if he can't win with this team, why expect a future QB to have anymore success?

Concentrate on making this the best team you can, so that when any QB comes along they are in a good position.

Manziel can sit behind Romo for 3 years and mature as a person and a player in the meantime.

Let him want all he wants. He is a terrible fit.

Actually he is kind of the perfect fit. Someone who can react to the defense and can use his legs for first downs. Sounds kind of like what we have now. And no I don't want him here. Lynch or Goff or Wentz. That's it that's all

Your nightmare scenario may just be Jerry's draft and free agency strategy. Johnny and a top 5 CB..lol!

Exactly, his contract is the perfect length to find out and he is affordable for a team already paying a no 1 QB salary like we are.

I actually think he is a good fit.He has a great oline and great at improvising. He can get 1st downs with his feet like Romo used to do before his back problems,He just hasnt shown any willingness to grow up ,he wont do that closer to home.

Romo can also read a defense, make oline changes to pickup the blitz, audible to the correct play and step up in the pocket with the best of them. The other area Romo is leaps better than Manzeil is leading the team. Everyone understands how much time Tony puts in. Everyone knows Tony will give up his body to win the game. He has proven that over and over. He inspires his teammates to be better in everything they do.

Just because Manzeil can scramble a bit when a play breaks down does not mean he is a good fit. The QB for Dallas needs to put the work in and truly have mastered the offense to be successful. I do not see Johnny ever committing himself like that. He has proven to be a liar several times over. He has proven you can not trust his word. I still do not understand why anyone would want someone like him on their team.
