Ready in 5 weeks means he wouldn't be ready to contribute until the Conference Finals when you consider he would need conditioning, to learn the offense, etc. Pass!

Sign and get him into rehab as long it is a team friendly deal. Other than that run it with the team you have now.

OBJ is going to be the new DeSean Jackson. Different team every year, sometimes 2.

Get him signed for 2-3 years, have him report immediately to Britt Brown for Extensive Rehab 2.0. If he’s ready in 5 weeks great, if not then we have him on the books for the next two years. Years 2+3 maybe 10m each with escalators for a possible $15m. He’s seen the facilities and nothing compares, what say you?!

It would have been nice to have had a medical update on OBJ before the trade deadline. Jerry seemed to put a lot of eggs in that basket after failing to get a WR in a trade. I guess it takes two to tango, but would it have hurt to try to get him in before the trade deadline and check on that knee. I mean the organization seems really convinced it needs another WR to compete.

Jerry's best friend  in the Media, Mike Florio (NBC), is chirping that Jerry's disclosure of OBJ's medical report can be construed as a HIPAA violation and OBJ should sue the Cowboys if he is not signed. Jerry should have just backed out immediately once he heard OBJ was not performing any workouts. Watch what comes next. Every media session will include numerous questions for Players and Coaches about OBJ. This is what happens when PT Barnum is the GM.

No one cares what that guy has to say. He’s the one who said he saw the “dez video” years back and then went as far as to say he would apologize if it proved to be untrue. He never apologized. He’s the last person that should be talking about outing other people and hurting their value.

Time to cut bait. This clown show is going nowhere.

From DC.com
DeMarcus Lawrence was asked on Wednesday if it's fair to say he wants Beckham signed by the Cowboys.

"It's fair to say I want to win a Super Bowl," Lawrence said. "So if he can come and help us with that, then yes I'll accept him. But if we're just gonna do the circus, no I don't. I'm focused on this year, this tam, what we have in the locker room and the journey we're on."
