What’s even funnier is you again trying to make it seem reasonable for Jerry to give up a fourth rd pick for a guy you normally pick off the waiver wire.

If they get in the top 3, they can trade back and gain picks higher than that 4th rounder and Mingo has potential. He made a good block tonight on the Rico 9 yard run. He can help the team.

I got a response from Broaddus when I commented on his podcast with Cavanaugh. I posted that the Cowboys could easily trade back and get a 3rd at least. Broaddus countered with he was in the draft room and said nobody was happy with that trade no matter what they do because that 4th round pick will be high. He said that Carolina will be able to do so much with two high picks in day 3.

This really sucks, because having a top pick at the start of day 3 is absolutely helpful. We should've traded a 6th for this guy.
