Jones said his biggest career disappointment is not winning a Super Bowl with Romo. Would be the same thing with Dak

Also had a very young Tyron Smith. And Fredbead. LOL
Yeah his teams all sucked for 14 years. It was all Romo. The hero worship he gets for doing nothing is insane.

Maybe instead of being a hero and checking down to Beasely in GB would have actually justifed the praise he gets.
There's truth in this. Only Romo would air it out to Dez in that spot. And only Romo would be cursed enough to pair that great throw with the ridiculous reversal.

He had a great shot in 2016 but his head coach decided to go with the rookie QB.

Well maybe if you didn’t stick with a HC with training wheels he would’ve had one. What a waste.
Yes, all of this. Don't have one of the worst play callers/coaches in football for over a decade and maybe that changes. We had a coaching disadvantage in all of those playoff games.

Jerry has no one to blame but himself. And us fans suffer because of him. He is raking in billions so don't feel bad for him.

umm.. no, cause Dak has had some great personnel around him. When Jerry says he regrets not winning a Super Bowl with Romo is because Jerry knows he didnt surround Romo with enough good players and coaches on both sides of the ball.
Uhhhh what? Romo had outstanding teams in 2007 and 2014. Top of the NFL teams. He didn't get it done in either year. Both years, his offenses fizzled out in the 2nd half. Stop this false narrative that poor Romo had terrible teams.

Also, Romo could have easily checked it down to Beasley on 4th down against GB instead of airing it out to Dez on a low percentage play. Yes, Dez caught it because he is a great athlete but it was a low percentage play, especially on 4th and short. You have to be smarter than that.

There were a ton of reasons that all were involved and not JUST what YOU claim is just failure of Jerry. Right now this second, the Cowboys are first in the NFC East. Insult your own common sense.

Being a simple fan is completely a waste on you.

Jerry done good...now cry about grammar!

Well should’ve thought about that when you had Wade and Garrett for most of his career…..
Wade was a very successful coach and Jason was sought by more than a couple of other teams. Naw, you should blame it on the Bosa Nova...you'd be closer to truth.

When we talk about Romo it’s all about how good he had it in 2007 and 2014, but not the absolute garbage from a management and coaching standpoint in between those years!! That’s a 6 year window. The drafts, the coaches. Jerry was a complete dumbazz during the period. Tell me what QB in today's game is dealing with that level of incompetence and having success? You need consistency from the front office. That is something Dak has right now that Romo did not.

I'm not doubting any of that but those coaches clearly weren't good enough to coach Romo to more success.

Our window is this year and the next couple so now is the time. Certainly next year this team should be a terror with Diggs back and another year of maturity.
If we don't lose our Defensive Coordinator after this season. That would suck.

That year anytime he got tackled even the announcers would cringe - he was a bandaid…broke his collarbone right after he rehabbed it…why? He probably didn’t care about his rehab.

Look you can tell me body types aren’t much in the nfl bc look at big ben etc. but the way dak comes into camp in shape shows that he cares.

Jones family had to make a public comment about his golfing habits prior to his big contract. What’s the difference between that and Kyler Murray playing too much call of duty.

No, Jerry, no, it's not your greatest disappointment. That is, it shouldn't be. You aren't even qualified to express that as a disappointment.

Your Cowboys teams have not even breathed an appearance in an NFC championship, and you are talking Super Bowls?

Jerry, your biggest disappointment should be the person you hired as GM.

Your 2nd biggest group of disappointments was the three times you would have been justified for firing your GM and then not going through with it.

Jerry was too busy wasting some of Romo‘s best years trying to develop Jason Garrett as a head coach.

You fail to break down accountability levels for a variety of reasons and environmental affects tied into cap and draft affects to change.

That is instead an arbitrary approach to just placing blame on an abstract goal and being at blame for not being able to, if the slate were clean, to be both effective and successful. There were in quite a few NFL quality achievements through those periods of time. First off, the season that Romo dropped a hold for a field goal in the playoff game, probably going at least to the NFC Championship Game. That alone negates the accusation for success and all associations, such as a rotten Jerry Jones...who also won three Lombardis and one without Jimmy Johnson, again going to a prejudiced and arbitrary defining for failure. Just not a truthful accusation. In fact, bordering on a lack of ethical standing...

Your saving grace here, is this is a sport.
