Hostile said:You have no idea how Parcells thinks. Sorry, that's been proven too many times to keep track of.
Having said that I agree with you on Henson not being ready and that is why he won't be used much this year. However, if you bothered to pay attention I was not talking about pre season. Nor was I talking solely about Drew henson. You see the word "Henson" and immediately get irate.
Here's a tip for you, every time his name (Henson's) is mentioned your manhood is not being called out. Everyone knows how you feel. It is impossible not to. You've been quite successful in making yourself a punch line. We get it.
In games that are out of reach, give the young QBs (that would mean both of them Nors) the experience they need to progress faster. Faster being the key word there. There is only so much progress that can be made by observing.
Once again. Did giving Hutch 9 full games in 2002 help him. No. Qb's who've been away from football for several years can't make up ground in a few games or even 2-3 years. What we ultimately found out was that Hutch was a waste of time and caused a rediculous non-existent qb controversy in 2002. Those 9 games might have helped QC to be more consistent in 2003 when he helped us win 10 games. Henson is taking a roster spot that would have been better spent on Aaron Rodgers,Jason Campbell,Charlie Frye or even Kyle Orton. We keep looking for the holy grail of Qb's, when it would be better to take a qb from a major school who has played with regularity recently. No doubt that those qb's will be starting long before Henson because their not re-learning football, they're building on recent success.
