Ok how this? Teams want to sit starters,then make the tickets half price. Why should fans pay full price to watch a pre-season game of backups?

No matter what Dallas does, it will be criticized. Rest players and lose, and that means we go out weak and vulnerable, and the experts will giggle about us losing to the lowly Giants. Go all out to win, and it’s “why endanger your stars for a meaningless game?” Try to split the difference, and we’re called mediocre, and lacking urgency.

If we come out and absolutely steamroll the Giants, they’ll say “Big deal, they suck”, then move on to how we’ll be one and done. Might as well ignore all of them, and just enjoy football.

The starters can say they want to play all they want...it doesn't matter - we know this game doesn't mean anything so it's not like they are going to go out there and play hard. We already saw what kind of performance they can have when there's nothing to play for. Give them the day off and get them mentally prepared for Seattle.
