1(12) Tetairoa McMillan WR Arizona
The Cowboys are in desperate need of a WR2 opposite CeeDee Lamb. McMillan is a changeup from any option Dak Prescott has recently had, as he's a big-bodied target who can attack a defense on multiple levels. Over three seasons at Arizona, McMillan had 33 receptions on balls thrown 20 or more yards downfield, which led the country. He can also win underneath, as he led the FBS with 145 receiving first downs in the same three-year span. Meanwhile, Dallas ranked 31st in red zone efficiency (46%) last season, which McMillan could help improve with his ability to win one-on-one matchups.

2(44) Quinshon Judkins RB Ohio St.
After passing on a running back in Round 1, the Cowboys would get their game-changing rusher here. Judkins is an energetic, physical runner who is hard to bring down. He finished with 1,060 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns last season and is capable of being Dallas' RB1 right away.

3(76) Shemar Turner DT Texas A&M
The Cowboys got disappointing production from their interior defensive line last season. Turner thrives at penetrating the line of scrimmage and knocking offenses off schedule.

5(149) Denzel Burke CB Ohio St.
5(174) Seth McLaughlin C Ohio St.
6(204) Carson Vinson T Alabama A&M
6(211) Jimmy Horn Jr. WR Colorado
7(217) Marques Sigle S Kansas St.
7(239) Chandler Martin LB Memphis
7(247) Joshua Simon TE South Carolina

I can't see them spending a high pick on Turner. There is a big difference in what DT's do and he just doesn't give them what they are in need of. IMHO, Dallas will probably not address the 3T position, at least not early, unless somehow Graham falls to 12. Paying Osa and signing S Thomas is good enough at 3T in their minds.
But adding a power 1T is a big need. They must sure up the inside run defense. Adding Turner doesn't really do that at all.

Tet n Quinshon is a combo I can't argue about. Turner n Burke is a problem for me, these draft guys need to learn the difference between a 3T and a 1T, and Burke is toast. Horn n Sigle, I would love those picks. Also, I like the Center from OSU to come in and add depth in the middle. Solid draft, we're not going to like everything most of the time.

I’ve been seeing a ton of mocks that go WR/RB at our first two picks. I love it. Everything after that is just gravy to me

These guys can't know everything these teams need. Not in detail anyway. Nor do they know all the draft tendencies. That's why you listen to the local guys who are tuned into what is going on in their building.

Can't complain. Curious though on how much voice they give Schott and Matt a round early to pick their "guy".

Like if they go offense round 1, do they give round 2 to ME unless his wants are gone and BPA is offense? I feel RB is deep enough that a good one will fall to #3

I think we need to upgrade the 3-tech spot, so I have no problem with adding someone to pair with Odighizuwa in this DT-heavy class, but if we do that, we need to come back with a power 1T. Maybe **** Stackhouse in the fifth, since we've got our center. I'd also like us to spend a second pick on the LB spot. Frankly, I think we need to pass on TEs and Ss this year unless a player is just too good to pass us. We have Ferguson, Schoonmaker and Spann-Ford at TE and Hooker, Wilson, Bell, Thomas and Mukuamu at S. We have other positions more in need of starters/depth.

I am a huge Aggie fan and have watched Turner quite a bit. With that said, this is a Marinelli 1T pick. He isn't really a 1T, he is a 3T, and he isn't going to get sacks, he is only a rotational guy. I like him as a player, but don't think he will ever be a special type player on a DL, just a guy that spends 6-8 years in a rotation.

People trying to help out Dak with a WR might consider how much a solid defense would help... I would argue it helps more! Same with the OL.

Whether it's Dak, Dan or Daz at QB, the OFFENSE desperately needs an upgrade at WR. And to your point, the defense also has holes to fill. Outside of a couple positions, there really isnt a wrong pick as far as position to target at 12.
